T5 Micro Grow

This is gonna be my first experience growing with t5`s

my t5 light just came in today from htg supply with a nice little lighter i can use to smoke my end product with

I have an old cab that i was using to try out scrog with but i ended up putting her outdoors , she is now a big ass bush

This cab has been beat up all to hell but is still usable , im going to replace the back of it

right now their is a small N.l in their under 2 cfl`s but im gonna take them out and put the t5 over her and see just how good these t5`s are supposed to be

Hopefully i wont be let down

After the N.l finishes im gonna grow my last 2 blue mystic seeds i have in their

I will be growing the blue mystic just to hopefully get some more seeds

If they both end up being females i will be completely happy

but i would like just 1 to be male for the seeds

also they will be grown 12/12 from seed in their and if need be i will lst

well here is how it looking now with the 2 cfl`s

but i will post more pics after i put a new back on the cab and with the t5 in their

like i said its beat up right now and im just gonna replace the back

later on sometime i will re due the sides again with mylar

but for now its just gonna be the back that im fixing

The light is just barley to wide ,

The light fixture itself fits snugly in but where the power cord comes out the side makes it to wide

What im gonna do is bend or cut the top right corner plate and feed the power cord out through the top

After i do that i will attach the new back on with the 1 intake and 2 exhaust

idk if i will put the fans on the inside or on the backside ,

it just depends on how much room is in between the fixture and the back

but i will find that out as soon as i get the fixture in after i mover the power cord

I took the fixture apart and un did the power cord wires

Then i drilled a hole through the top for the cord to go through

i also wrapped electrical tape around the cord so it does not get cut on by the metal

Now the power cord is coming from the top like i want and the fixture fits right in the cab now

So now i got to work on the back , ill post more pics when thats done

Like i said before , i will re due the sides and shit later on

but as of now its due able and will work for now

i just hope i dont get disappointed by the t5

iv been told how good they work so i guess will see

my ex stepson uses 2 bulb version of that light and grows 6 topped plants in a rubbermaid dwc so im sure your plants will like it

I found a damn weed growing out the side of my little rootball lol

This is a clone from one of my outdoor plants so maybe something happened along the way

But anyway , I took my plant out the pot to see how much of the rootball was filled with roots and i see this little weed growing out the side

I really did not know what to think of it lol

its nothing im stressing though , i just yanked it out

Wut up slim ,

I still got that mini blue mystic in their right now , but she is about ready to harvest

I just watered her yesterday and i will probably harvest her after she fully dries out , maybe by wednesday

After that i was gonna put my last 2 blue mystic seeds in their but i got a couple of royal hash clones that just took root that im gonna finish out in their first

ill post pics tomorrow

This is my first time growing with t5s

I have a 150 hps that i normally use but i figured i give the t5s a try

So far they seem ok , im only flowering with it though , im probably gonna do some 12/12 from seed grows in their and lst the shit out of them

But im just not sure yet on exactly what i will do , but regardless i will be growing something

these pics are complete shit , i should of checked them before i planted my clone and put everything up

Well the 1st is the mini blue mystic , and the 2nd and 3rd are the royal hash clones

I cloned them with plain water , the 2 in the back took root last week and the one in the jar i transplanted into soil after i took the pic

I wish i waited to see how the pics turn out first , oh well

After the blue mystic finishes i will put the clones in the cab

So far it seems to be doing fine , its flowering the B.M nicely and tight also not airy

I put those R.H clones in yesterday after i took the pic so i will see how it does with them ,

After the clones finishes i will start from seed and see how it does and if it continues to do well i just might sell my hps

I got a brand new bulb for it that i haven't used yet , so i just might have to do one more grow with it before i let it go

The hps fits in my cab also , just the t5s will be more beneficial if they work out like im hoping

hey goten....that blue mystic is a pretty girl....i grew some blue mystic about a year ago and it was some killer,killer nugs...cabs very well set up...im diggin it man....i have a 2' 4bulb t5 also..not htg but same light...which bulbs do u have in it?? i use mine to start my seedling but was always curious how it would do in flower??im subb'd up, so i guess we'll find out...nice grow...ganja

I know my blue mystic is small but they dont call it micro growing for nothing lol

Even though she is so small she is pretty much finished ,

The trichomes are 90-5-5 ,

90% cloudy 5% clear and 5% amber

That is not a for sure ratio though , its just how it looks to me when i look through my scope ,

Im probably gonna chop her any day now , but not until the soil dries completely out first at least

My cab is smaller then it looks in the pic , the t5 did not even fit in it , i had to remove the power cord from the side and feed it through the top ,

You can see how i went about doing that on the 1st page

I just put some clones in their yesterday hopefully they will do good ,

I have to bagseed that is breaking soil and should be completely out by tomorrow , i will let them veg till their about 4 to 5 " tall then i will put them under the t5s to flower and see how they do

As of right now i have the flowering bulbs in their , they came free when i ordered it , i had a choice of the bloom bulbs or the veg and i chose the bloom ,

I might buy some veg bulbs later if im satisfied with the t5 ,

I have more room to work with , with my hps in their but im wanting to save on power right now , i have my ac running 24/7 cuz it so hot here and i dont want to add to the bill

The hps only made my bill go up about $20 , but thats an extra 20 i cant afford to spare right now , I might do 1 more grow with it come fall or winter

The t5 takes up the whole damn cab from side to side , it has scraped off a lot of my mylar that i have on the sides but im not sweating it , at least theirs enough room for my fans in the back and that matters more to me right now ,

I have the back of my cab hinged up so i can easily change from t5 to hps if i want to , but as of now like i said , i wont use the hps till at least fall

Here is a pic of the flowering bulbs that are in their , the t5 and bulbs set up i got off ebay for $85 total ( including shipping ) but they still got shipped from htg

i always keep all extra lights
got twice the wattage in reserve if all else fails
you never know?
