Northeastern Region: Flowering yet?

1 in full flower. 1 in preflower. And then there's the one that hasn't given me the slightest clue of if it's male/female.

First timer so I'm not exactly 100% sure but as far as I can see there are no flowers yet. Rained like a bastard today but it just started to slow down a little while ago so I'm about to go to my spot and check again.

Edit: just checked and finally I'm seeing growth i've never seen before forming in many places! (Looks like upside-down green raindrops with white hairs coming out) I guess this would be the very start of flowering.

srry bud but those are just preflowers, its a girl , but its not flowering yet, a couple more weeks

First timer her. I have seven outdoor Blue Cheese plants going in MA. Was'nt sure what to look for, but after reading this thread I guess I am on track. Cuz they are growing/flowering I guess, they look like little buds starting, then they grow into leaves. I bought females, I was getting nervous they got switched.

Got a Herm that's flowering but the pure ladies are stil pre flowering. I'm up in ME, any idea from growers up here when they usually need to be pulled? I thinking the first week in Oct?

All 6 of my girls started showing signs of flowering about 2-3 weeks ago...all, even the ones I started late and NEVER thought could finish are full on flowering at this point. I'm going to snap some shots tomorrow at the ass crack of dawn and post em up here.

That is why plants which flower based on photoperiod are cool. It could be one foot tall, just germinated about a month ago.... But it will still flower when the time is right. Some strains are slower than others, but when the time comes, these babies want to reproduce. :-o:-o

Nature has so many things figured out that we'll never uderstand! I'll try to get some pics up soon. It's the trudging out to the woods that stops me... Any thoughts on approximate date to pull them?

Anyone know of other threads for New England Growers?

depends on the strain, ne where from 6-12 weeks, pretty large margin, but generally speaking around 8 weeks, id start checkin the trichs at 7 weeks, to get an idea, also if u know whether ur plant is more indica or sativa it'll help, indicas have shorter flowering time, sativas have longer flowering times

it's just some bag seed. I'm hoping that it's on the lower end of the 6-12 weeks that for sure. As for telling if it's more indica vs. sativa. It has long skinny leaves... I'm not sure what characteristics mean what, so if anyone has some nput that would be great!

I'll try to gerab some pics next time i head out there..

If it has long skinny leaves it's going to be a sativa which can flower longer than 12 weeks. Of course are they really long and skinny? If you're not familiar enough with indica then it could be mistaken or a hybrid mistaken. Bottom line is a plant finishes when it's done. Various strains have fairly song timelines but lot of factors will determine the final result.
