If someone wanted to buy bulk

What would prices be? I have a rough knowledge of the cali market but am looking for some more insight. If someone were to be looking for bulk in the five to fifty lb range what would prices be.

Some elaboration on the costs of

Price per lb for 5, 10, 25 and 50 pack of top grade or close to it outdoor during the harvest season and others parts of the year would be helpful as well as the same for top indoor

Understanding that the person in mind is not looking for a broker or to be Middled and wants to deal direct with multiple growers where would the best location to move be (the triangle?)

Any Insight into the prices and locations would be appreciated

(I am not the one interested in this information this is solely research for an outside party)

You can find all of that out if you live in the area and you get to know people. Mendo + Trinity are probably your best bets, Humboldt has kind of blown up over the past 20 years and is not really too friendly to more outsiders trying to hustle.

It look like you miss the cash . You can go to SN&R get the coupons get your evaluations for $35 and be a grower there over 108 collective just around Sacramento . you can get a 99 plant for $125 down on J street you will have get a car with out state plats and go east that way you don't get your car profiled

Eureka/arcata is real friendly to anyone looking to pick stuff up. But yeah, once you get into the smaller towns it's a locals only attitude.

Wide price range there. Anywhere from 600-1200 per pack if you're getting 10+ if you hit people up in December. That's kind of a guess though based on what I've been offered. That's not really my deal though so IDK

That I do know. June-August is dry season. Technically september too, but no one buys in september because they save their money for harvest season.

The best time to buy = end of Nov-end of Jan. Mid December is really the sweet spot. It's when everyone is holding and have already tried and failed to get rid of their stuff and are now starting to panic thinking they'll never get rid of it. That's the time to strike if you're trying to make a big buy.
Best time to sell = June-August.

I know my OD all goes for 26-28 a pack during dry season. If they take enough off me at once I might drop that down to 24-25, but I generally don't do that because it's pretty easy to get rid of it for more this time of year. But IDK what other people get for theirs. I'm sure there's cheaper stuff out there.

We get around $3200/lb for our Pre-98 Bubba Kush. We could get more, but have 2 multi collective owners that we've been dealing with for a long time. My friend's grow op is twice the size of ours (around 40,000 watts), and he sells the same strain to one person who buys it all for $2,500/lb. He's moving around 10 - 15 lbs at a time. His buyer is a broker for dozens of collectives and makes very good $$$ doing it. Your "friend's" best bet would be to negotiate a deal with a grower about the size of our grow (20,000 watts). If he's willing to buy everything the op can produce, he'll get a very good deal. When we first started this op I would have offered the whole crop for $2500/lb. It's very attractive to a grower to just deal with one person. Another advantage of entering into an agreement with a grower is that he will probably grow whatever strain you want him to. In prior commercial ops I've grown strains requested by large buyers. As long as they're willing to buy it all....why the fuck not? You'll find that most medium sized indoor growers (10,000 - 50,000 watts) just want to grow. They don't want to give out samples, find new markets, track down money owed, etc...If a person were to offer to take care of all that BS, so the grower could just concentrate on growing, the grower would probably give that guy a killer deal.

You can ask about pricing all day long, and get a huge range. But there's alot more to long term success than just the absolute bottom line. How reliable is the supply? How reliable is the quality? Is the product consistant? I think you should try to find a grower that can provide you what you need on a consistant basis, and then negotiate the pricing. You'll find as a broker that if YOU can offer consistant quality and quantity to YOUR buyers, you will be able to charge a premium. It's not too hard to find a one time killer deal on some good weed from a desperate grower. But, once that deal is done and sold, you're out there looking for the next deal. In the meantime, YOUR buyers want some more, but you don't have it because it was just a one time deal. It's no different than any other business. If a lumber yard doesn't have a consistant supply of 2x4's, people will find one that does. As our industry starts taking shape, the people who act like proffesionals will thrive, and the people who act like 1980's drug dealers will perish.

I agree entirely but your talking about indoor here correct? Those aren't bad numbers for indoor and with a demand between 30-50 lbs a week it could all be taken care of, I couldn't charge more than 3400 per in bulk or 3500 for small amounts but if someone were to provide consistant top quality indoor for between 2500-2800 I would be all over that.

Thing is with this demand I would require bulk outdoor and i would be able to charge 2500-3000 depending on amount quality and purchase price so these 1000 dollar packs during the havest period would be incredible and as long as the outdoor didn't go above 2000 that would be my priority. I don't really want to sit on 500+ lbs for half a year to help tide through the market peak

I would love to hook up with 20000 watt growers and be able to dictate strains but I would need like ten of them just to cover minimums.
