Air-cooled reflectors and main exhaust into one concerns with carbon filter

Basically if I do carbon filter > main exhaust fan>45 degree splitter that hooks up to:

intake > fan> reflector>flex duct going to splitter

My concern is will the air-cooled reflector draw in some unfiltered air?

im confused walk me through it from the intake side

u dont have to filter air to hoods unless u meant to draw air from room
an filter should last thing before or after exhaust then all air is filtered

Basically due to the negative pressure caused inside the air cooled chamber of the reflector i'm worried it might pull air through the edges of the glass.

Hopefully this image explains it better

just move intake down and it is legit
What do you mean the splitter? If so it'll be in the room. I might rotate the main 90 degrees counter-clockwise and flip the splitter so the split goes on the other side and connect into that. Work better the way my openings are on the tent. (See image below)

I was just worried about pulling in unfiltered air through the air cooled reflector. Never seen one up close so I dunno how the design is. I'm sure I could air proof it fairly easily if need be.

I had to use silver tape to seal the glass to my hood. without the tape I had skunk smell getting in the exhaust air.

Does the adhesive on that tape release any off-gassing into the tent? I imagine that glass gets hot? Thats a good solution though. I was going to line some foam where the hinged area is so it creates like a gasket.

Is your setup kind of similar to mine?

i use silver foil tape and doubt u got any worries

im high and late here now i look again mount filter outside room then it filters all air
I thought the fan should be as close to the filter as possible as thats the biggest factor of static pressure(resistance). It might not be a bad solution as the span im running is about 10 feet to the outside wall and I was fearing i'd need a small inline to keep the air going which is why I wanted to put all the exhaust(reflector and main) into one to increase the FPM of the air.

I added CO2, so my only exhaust air is the air that was used to cool the light. I vent 2 600's with a 6" fan and 6" duct. No problems with heat... but humidity gets a little high.

I couldn't tell you if the tape offgases. The gaskets on the 2 lights both leaked though.

yes but why u got mounted is just filtering room

last thing out of room is fan+ filter

Judging by this comment it seems you think(for good reason now that im reading back i never mentioned it) im growing in a room but i'm growing in a tent in a room and those thick lines were tent walls. Does this change your response?

You know more than I do though, i'm open to suggestions and critique i'm just not sure we may be talking about the same thing ya know?

I think it'll be better to see what I need to do to seal it once its here. I hope the only cracks would be around the glass part where the hinge is
