Bombs on the Planes

Wouldn't that only make sense? wouldn't that explain the flash before they hit the WTC? The lack of remains from flight ninety three? the not-so plane shaped pentagon impact? I have heard the theory many times but if they really wanted to cause damage, why wouldn't they plan to load the planes with bombs? They even talk about loading crop dusters with bombs. Why do people think they were missiles because there isn't a shape of a plane in a building or in the ground. Explains the insulation burning and the steel melting too.

:-?

Well I agree with you and thats just a couple things out of the documentary. To me the story seems pretty faulty and my opinions will not change, they have no reason to :)

I've watched 100+ hours of documents/interviews/clips of 9/11, I personally don't think there were bombs involved, but if so I don't see how that effects anything it's already happened.

do you know how much energy a 767 has just from kinetic energy.

a 767

weighs = 204,120 kg

fly @ 913 km/h

1/2MV^2 ----->(1/2)(204,120Kg)(254m/s)^2 = 6.8 Gigajoules = 1.5 tons of TNT and this is just from the motion of the plane.

After checking out the specs for a 767 i think its a little more like this

The k.e dischargedby the impact of a 767 at cruise speed would be
0.5 x 387,000 x ^2/32.174 / 3.706 billion ft lbs force = 5,014,650 Kilojoules.

Here's were the fun comes in. One of the main engineers that designed the infrastructure for the building said, "the building is designed for a collision of a 707". If you play with the numbers a bit comes out to
0.5 x 316,000 x (490)2/32.174 = 4.136 billion ft lbs force =5,517,720 Kilojoules
As we see the 707 does have a lot more destructive energy. And the building was build to withstand that hit. How is it that a smaller impact took down the entire building?

My math might be a little off here so you can double check it if you want. But it is 430am and i have been in school all day so tired as shit.

Yea if you are able to increase the speed it will increase the damage much more than if you increase the weight. just because that V^2
is velocity

on a side note i don't think you can use English units for the energy equation.

I was going to say something like this, but i just didn't feel like it.. :O

"Hey Shitty Security Team....where do we check our bombs at?" Lol. No bombs.

How would they get bombs big enough to do that much damage onto a plane unnoticed? Just cause security sucked doesn't mean there wasn't any. Come on use your brain.

There was no way in hell planes did that much damage. Period.

FWIW the TSA did not exist pre 911, not that it has any affect on your story.
