Ph adjusting.

hydro grower here.

when do i have to start putting ph down or up to adjust PH ?. after seeding or after a week? or start adjusting as soon as i germed?

I dont do hydro but you want your water adjusted to the proper PH level befor it gets to your plants.

I'm not a "Hydro" guy either, but I would just check the pH, and if it's OK, don't fuck with it. Adjusting pH can be a nightmare if it gets away from you. If you DO adjust, take baby steps.

I remember when I first started (so about 2 months ago lol) I proper messed up with PH. Didn't realise just how *little* pH down you need to see a drop in reading. Seriously, I would do some test runs in a watering can or such so you can see how quick it works and get comfortable with it.

Also, I cant stress enough the importance of a decent PH meter. Fuck all of those cheap ones, they will kill/damage your plants if your not careful. I have a bluelab combo meter now, sitting in the reservoir, press of a button and get a reading, easy and accurate.

Well I'm using 15 litre dwc and 2-3 drops takes it from like 6.6 down to 5.8-5.9 so depends on the amount of water.

yes sir. Do u have any experice of using pc fans in tha grow room?

Dont use them in the grow room as have extractor/carbon filter and a Honeywell fan in there. I do use pc fans in a dry box I made and also im a computer engineer so anyway I can help I will.

I can't install any thing big like carbon filter because i live with my parent. Only have this opinon so far. Nothing but Pc fans.
Ok, My closet is bout H 27inch W 21 inch. Also going to cover up with mylar, 6x24 cfls. I have a box fan. I have 3 PC fans which is 120mm, 80cfm.
I am thinkin to use 2 for exhaust nd 1 Intake. The thing is Would this 2 exhaust fan good enoght to remove all the HOT heat's. I want to be able to control temp in my closet.
around 70~ 75. I already have those fan so i have no choose but those fans..

Yeah you could do that fine, I wouldn't put intake but use the 3rd for air circulation within the cab, intake will be done by negative pressure from the exhausts. Try it and if it doesn't work out, grab an extra small intake fan.

Sythe do great 110cfm, 120mm fans mate. erm what they called, 1 mo.... Scythe Kaze Jyuni 1900rpm @ 110cfm

You could also add a fan controller to enable variable speed of the fans.

As long as exhaust exceeds intake you're fine, and for Ph treatment I would advise this, make sure you do your tampering in a seperate reservoir with everything you're going to add and get it right there, ensuring you're thoroughly mixed up and that it's all evenly done. Then don't mix it with any other substance once you're finished as this will throw you off completely and make all your hard work for nothing.

There is nothing wrong with having intake also, as noobface says, as long as you have more exhaust than intake it will be fine mate.
