once i've had afew spliffs i try to say everything in one go bro lol i knows where your coming from. but yeah i am really trying so hard to better my self as a grower and half the times it feels like i take one step forward and then 10 back'
Ive got 4 grows under the belt, the first one started with me having some stuff to smoke and found 3 seeds inside some bud' well my mind got the better of me and i planted it. i got as far as two wks into flowering but i killed it because i didnt think it would live, (if only i knew what i now know) and ever since then ive only managed to get to flowering again (gutted)
You know ive spent so much time reading about how everything go's together and how to do this that i find it no prob's in helping others but i'm stumped then when it comes to my own plants' if that makes sense lol

started feeding the 15/9 res ec was .4 at that time' my ec meter reads ms instead of ec
WHAAATTT? KISS what works for you. Mix according to directions on the box, remember to water, all the light they can handle wait then wait some more even for my earlygirls: water was high so went to red 'acid' Miracle Grow almost killed every thing with changes~!

I've just moved it out of the dwc unit it was in and put it in to another unit but same size res (8 gallons)
Ive put the water level of the res bout an inch below the net pot' that will be ok won't it? How do you water dwc plants? ive heard of ppl saying that they hand watered when the plant was a seedling but i dont understand what is ment by watering dwc plants?
I thought that it was fill the water level back up to the water mark in side the res and thats how its done? scunk

Scunk, Until you get a nice batch of roots hanging in the res it does help to hand water. Its almost impossible to over water a hydroton medium. It may not be a problem with your nutes, or ph. perhaps the plant is just not getting them.

You really need to do some research and figure out how to get EC converted to PPM's for me to help.
Jesse, once you get used to it, you'll be happy you started talking in EC instead of ppm. PPM varies from region to region, 3 different conversions. EC is the universal way to measure. For american meters, 1 EC is 500 ppm. I grow at around .84 EC, or in america 420 ppm.

Thanks Burrr, I still have a lot to learn when it comes to hydro. :joint:

The 3 different conversions are manufacturtes of meters and i think its ppm500 and ppm700 and theres one inbetween

Up-dated pictures taken an hr ago, when taking them i knew there was something up with ph because the leaves often look that way with ph being off so i ph'd it back to 5.7 from 6.3, its to be expected with it only having the plant in for the last day and half. I also noticed that the new growth leaf tips are bent to the side which is a trade mark for zinc def. The unit the plants in now havn't got any nutes in it what so ever only ph'd water. I'd be really grateful if someone could recommend a new feeding point for me to add to the res, plus any additives? so the plant can have something to eat lol scunk
Ive also put 2x pics of the nute packet im using in the hope that someone could recommend a new starting point to feed, going off how much to use with the nutes i got?

Enjoying watching you learn dude but rather you than me, looks well tricky compared to soil, hope it works out soon. Peace

If I were you, I would go about 1/2 strength and start feeding her. If you can get more information to me about the NPK of what you are using I can be more helpful.

Yeah you need a better nutrient program. I'd order 3 part general hydroponics flora series, or go buy it at the store depending where you live. Its pretty fail safe. Does your system spray the roots? How do these get water, that wilt is bad man. RO water or tap?
