Thanks stoney! Yea I used chicken wire last time which worked okay but larger squares should be perfect!! It didn't take to long to make either. Oh btw the clones all still look exactly the same as when I took them, I think its been around 6 days. I'm hoping in another week i'll start to see some roots!!
 
Hey there smelly - looking awesome! It's cool to see that auto in there doing so well - those strains are often advertised to finish in 6 to 8 weeks from seed, so it's nice to see in action... :weed:

my syrup should be done by friday. That will be 65 days. I sucked it up on over nuet my plants on my first grow but she still is putting out nice super dense buds. I'll post pics on here just before chop down.

Thanks Dayzt!! Appreciate the info, this is my first true auto so it is pretty cool to see it doing its thing :) I was just looking at the trics and its definitely close, I'm going to wait until I seed about 5-10% amber and chop her. I'm thinking it will be around 8 weeks give or take a few days!!

Sounds good bro, is that 65 days from seed or flowering? My syrup looks like she will take the longest to flower and shes also the youngest.

BTW, looks like I'm getting some amber trics on the Red D. I'll probably chop it on saturday and give it one good flush anyway.

What do you guys do for flushing? If anything at all? Just curious, I'm more on the side of feeding till the last minute and then maybe a couple days flush but I don't stress on flushing for 2 weeks. Thats going to be another thing I will have to compare side by side with the same pheno! I was thinking about flowering 2 of those quzar clones in party cups and flushing one and not the other and documenting the differences... We will see :)

started from seed on sept 6th just after seeing some girls outdoor aptment closet grow that was horrible. Her t5 2ftx 4 tube reflector was about 4 ft away from the plant and she didnt even have a timer. It was basically a huge mother plant that looked sick and had spider mites. I had bought seeds in feb but was just not sure about growing. After I saw that I jumped in head first and sprouted my seeds before having anything and just worked hard to get all the stuff I needed to grow along the way. So yes 65 days from seed.
 
I don't flush dude! i feed right up to the end!!! one thing i do, I ALWAYS harvest at the end of the dark cycle before the light come on. my reason is, I believe the plant rejects the nutes during it's dark period. the reason i believe this is true cuz when people grow in hydro their res always has a higher PPM at dark times than lights on. It may sound silly, but my buds taste great and burn to clean white ash!!!!!

I grow in organic soil, and I just give straight water for the last ten days or so.
 
Carbon filter is up! Man that was a PITA to carry into the attic and hang lol. I'm running my fan up there too, just not enough room to run them inside the closet! So for those of you that missed it, I'm running the Solor & Palau TD-200 8" Fan. Heres a link if you interested
It has two settings, I'm running it on the low setting "450 or so cfm lol" With a 650 cfm carbon filter 24"x10"x10". Hopefully the smell is no more, pushing the air through the filter definitely helped quiet the fan but this thing moves so much air it would be hard not to hear it if you where trying lol.. I also took someguys advice and used the filter that come on the outside to cover the end where the air is sucked in. I also covered my passive intakes for the veg and flower cab with the filter too! I went a little overkill on the fan and filter but I plan on running a couple tables and 600's in the future so I should be g2g.

I really wanted to try and push an air cooled 600w hps in this space but that would be 100 watts per square foot and I think that is just too much light to control the heat during the summer. So I'm hoping with this fan I wont have a problem running an air cooled 400w which I will probably pick up near christmas!

Sounds like we do the same thing then lol.. I just didn't know why I cut it before lights came on but now I do lol.. Do you run some fresh water through them the last time you water them or do you just feed up till the end?

1-1 so far lol.. Well including me its 2-1 but I'm still not totally sold that flushing doesn't make the bud burn/taste better. Even though I've done it and haven't noticed much of a difference it was with new strains so I really didn't have much to go off of.
 
I feed every watering. I don't alternate nutes/water. I make one mix up. Jacks classic 20-20-20, cal/mag, 6 drops of superthrive. i feed ALL my plants that mix, veg and flower every single time. no straight water. I know, I'm weird.. but dude, I have like 40 plants right now.... I'm not gonna make up separate mixes for all those different ages..... a couple weeks after roots show, they get this mix and get it till the day they're chopped!!

Yea I can't blame you doing it that way with the perpetual thing going! I would do the same thing! Your girls turn out very nice too so I'm pretty impressed you feed everything the same dose!
 
Alright so, according to my calculations Big RED is 40 days flowering and showing about 10-20% amber at the most! lol.. I usually would chop right about now but She's been showing some good growth the last few days, what do you guys think from the pics? Oh and shes around 54 days from sprout.

Damn they look really nice! I think I like the structure of 2 a bit more then 1, which plant has been your favorite to raise thus far?

I think I picked a real stud for a Blackwater pollen. He is makin a ton of balls and looks very healthy and strong. Hopefully he carries the purp genes from his parents but no way to really tell.

Its funny you say that because I've grown partial to #2 myself lol. #1 Does have those big pretty fan leaves its just a bit more lanky then I'd like. #2's branching is perfect for what I want to use her for! I'll probably end up with 6 main buds off #1 and at least 8 off #2. On top of all that, you've been able to noticably smell the funkyness in #2 since about 2-3 weeks into veg and #1 still kind of just smells like plant.
Only thing is I havent been able to steal any clones off #2 yet because all her branching "besides 2 smaller ones" are going to hit the screen! So I'm waiting on those little branches to stretch a little more so I can grab 2 clones off her too!!

That blackwater sounds amazing! I wish I could steal some pollen from you!!! I would pollinate #2 haha!

Oh btw, what do you think about the red D, chop or wait another week? Still seems to be pushing out a few pistils here and there..?
 
Love the OG18, does look a lot like my sour kush.

I'd say take the red whenever you want. Looks like the new growth is caylx towers or 'bolting'. I get a lot of that using bloom boosters (esp Shooting Powder) and it just seems like they will continue to grow endlessly. Just gotta look at where the hairs are emerging, if it's all over leave it a bit longer. But judging by the pics it looks pretty damn close.

And about the clone, if your not flowering yet you could always cut the most dominant top shoot. You'll get 2 to replace it as long as u have a week.
