well my plant looks killer to me, but I notice the outter edges of her leaves are yellow... is this normal. CFL lighting. 6500k bulbs. the sand you see in the pictures is just on the top soil because I had fungus gnats. I used Miricle grow potting soil. the water I use PH is at 6.5

what do you think?......

looks like the early stages of zinc diff too me have you added lime to the soil cause miracle grow soil has a very very low ph level! just because you add 6.5 water in doesn't mean the soil is 6.5 i have bought miracle grow soil many times and the ph has always been 5.4 thats even low for hydroponic miracle soil is very good soil but it takes some prep work for it to work well for marijuana i would just add some lime to rise the ph if you haven't already done so.

Potassium (K):
a.k.a. potash, this nutrient is key for the usage of carbs/sugars. This is key for sturdy/thick stems, small bushy plants and disease resistance. Its needed for all stages of plant growth, especially bud formation.

Abundance: this is pretty rare to notice, excess potassium usually isnt absorbed by the plants but can mess with levels of magnesium, manganese zinc and iron. This in turn leads to salt damage acid fluctuations and possibly a calcium deficiency

Deficiency: this has yellowing of leaves, from outside in, but with a dark green center vein, and curling of leaf tips, this is mistakenly diagnosed as nitrogen def or iron def a LOT. Stems and branches will be weak, easily broken. the plant may also stretch. *too much sodium (NA) can cause a potassium deficiency.

Looks middle of the plant not top or bottom, how do you get K deficient in the veg period without being deficient in other things first plus what are the K values against the N/P values of his ferts??

damn everyone has something different to say but this has something to back up what you said.... what would you do if you were in my position. remember my potting soil has Miricle grow in it...

would be e smart to test the ph in the dirt? I heard I run water thru the dirt and then test the water? is this accurate.... of course I would know the level of PH in the water before I run it thru the dirt...

if i were you i woulds just add lime and water it in i would not use nutes cause the nutes are most likely there just the plant cant use it so i would just add lime water it in good and see how shes rolls nutes should always be the last thing you try in am attempt to fix a problem, tbh I think its just a ph issue the plant is beautiful i have grown in MG soil many many times and love it! but there is prep work to do to it before it will work well for marijuana. soo i would just run water threw the soil and test the ph off that it you read like 6.3-6.9 you should be alright the MG soil i am growing in atm is 6.6-6.7, when i test MG soil my run off is always 5.4 without lime added thats low!! yours may not be that low but.

What type of MG soil are you using?
well it is just the regular potting mix. actually the pot the plant is in I believe is the moisture control bag. not sure if it makes much differenece. I am thinking from now on of using regular dirt and then adding my own nutes.

do you think I should do something about my situatiuon, or should I just let the plant ride it out

Reading run off pH as an indicator of a mediums pH is total myth and useless.

Top dressing with dolomite nd watering in, you wont see any real help from the lime for like a month or so. it takes time for it to break down and react with the medium.

Put on a blindfold, get a dart, and throw it at this chart.

Good luck.

Edit:
My guess is you have early stages of N or Mag deficiency. Giving your plant a little calmag wouldn't be a bad idea.

That late stage N def pic is not accurate. The veins yellow in proportion to margin yellowing when it comes to n def. That pic clearly shows green vein petiole too tip....
