at my first dilema....a door. i wanted to glue/screw the faces of the drawers onto the front so the cab looked like a ordinary dresser and do a stealth cab style.

Sounds like your on the right track. Maybe buy some of those "hidden" hinges to keep stealthy!? I'm excited!! A new build underway! Dimensions?

haha they brought back the likes, now all they need to do is fix the thumbnails and RIU is back to what it was before. i really think they are just having storage issues and need to buy bigger HDD's for thier servers.

anyways heres some pics as i begin. will try and update as frequently as possible.

thanks all, i have a few more mods to do. the door is reallly heavy and tips the cab when i open it. going to have to fasten it to the wall to support the weight of the door. now i need to invest in 4 more 26w 6500k CFL and . get the vegg side going. thinking im gonna see if a friend u met on here wants to get rid of a couple clones and ill start up my perpetual.

heres some more pics.

i have a issue with the door being really heavy and not sure how to deal with it. I dont want it putting too much stress on the rest of the cab and end up with a broken cab. any suggestions on how to support the door would be great. i was thinking a small stilt with a caster on it like this.

I like it bro. That stilt caster idea could work nicely. What I did was load up on heavy duty hinges. I have four holding up a 6'x3' sheet of 1/2" plywood.

yeah i dont think the hinges are the issue as the dresser is made of thin panel board and its not meant to support that much weight
