I have strong visual destebences that have become inpossible to ignore how do i go about seriously talking to a dr. for help without him taking one look & laughing me away?

Tell him you think you've tripped too many balls and now your bat shit nuts, he'll have to believe you... he's a doctor. I'm certain (if your in the USA) they don't have the right to disclose any patient medical information unless you plan on killing someone or yourself, just let him know your having "acid flashbacks" and 10 to 1 he'll write you a short term prescription you some atypical anti-psychotic like Seroquel until you get "normal" :roll:

I think I know a dr. my old adhd doc Iv told him I was using shrooms an he just said lay off em (but i didn't). Does anyone think there could be a connection to my pot use?

Dude, I took well over a sheet of acid, an ounce of shrooms, and 5 grams of MDMA one summer. Had visuals for 3 months after. They will go away. Especially if you've only consumed organic psychedelics (aka shrooms). Be careful. The medication they prescribe you can be pretty bad on your mind and body.

I seriously doubt weed has anything to do with your visuals, it's most likely the LSD or 2c-i like Timeismoney said but you didn't say anything about taking that.

If it's just the drugs, lay off for awhile, maybe a long while. I'm more worried that it's something more organic you are blaming on the drugs, like schizophrenia. Time to see a doc.

I have permanent tracers. Wood grain looks like rivers, and solid colors blur, stuff like that. I have a bunch of old hippy friends who have the same thing. It doesn't bother me enough to try to do anything about it. I'd rather live with it than take an antipsychotic.
The way to talk to a dr about it is to be honest. "I've done a bunch of psychedelic drugs and I have persistent visuals that are interfering with my life and I want help to make them go away."

Ok I think I'm going to have to explain my self alil, I have been smokeing weed every day since the 7th grade when I was 15 i startd taking mushrooms b4 I really knew to much abot them. I think iv tripped on mush aroung 80 somthing times in a very short period of time like 2 years. the next psychdelic I started taking was XTC ( I like MDMA =) ) dont know how much E I was taking but I was a fair amount. I'v smoked very strong salvia multiple times in my life ( I recall the same dayjavoo I feel while on salvia). Ithink the next one was 2c-e (insulfladed) witch afterwards alot of my visualed field has been disrupted.... more later I have to go to work.Oh btw Time I did not make an orded 4 2c-i but I get paid thursday

Yes sir some people get eye flashers from 2c compounds

Mine was always from 2ci and ive tried them all. Goes away in a month to two

I dont think i would mind if they never went away, once i went about a half a year with very intense flashbacks, as little as one deep breath would set them off. happened while driving a few times, that was only time i really didn't enjoy it. they did fade away though, i thought i was gonna have them forever.

They've never really bothered me because I recognize what they are and why they're happening. It doesn't interfere with my life. Although driving in snow, especially at night is pretty interesting.

Yeah these visual distribences are pretty strong an different disruptions come from different eyes. My right eye I has floters every day very big and clearly visable, and has a blur to it. my left eye has this continuing flsh off light a color wich is similar to the twinkle seen from dimonds. I rember seeing this flash multiple time while on a strong mushroom trip. It is the most noticable symtom that I have but it happens to the left of whatever I focus in on. Thanks everyone you've been great help.

Flash backs I can deal with there quick and sudden an i can tell them apart from what ever else is wrong with my eyes, its the continuing flashs, floters, static,an noises that I hear that are finally becoming inpossible to ignore that has me affraid I may hav hppd

Well my last 2ce tripp we were snorting lines off a keys, books, the tip of or finger. It was very fun trip but snorting lines of 2c-e is pain full enough as soon as it goes up yur nose, but the pain and the discomfort stayed with 4 about an hour after every line
