so ive been doing a lot of reading lately about plant tissue culture. you basically take a piece of stem with a leaf and put it into a special glucose/hormone based gel medium and place in a glass vial to grow. way healthier than traditional cloning as this way rids the plants of diseases and viruses that are spread through the vascular system of the plant therefore making them all sterile and healthy. also you can transport literally hundreds of them in a tiny suitcase safely.

discount-hydro.com has a plant tissue kit for 249.99 i might save up. my friend wants to try it too. i so wish i didnt fuck around when i was younger and went to school and took it seriously. id love to have a formal education on advanced and basic botany and cultivation.

I just use rubbing alcohol to prevent spread of disease.. its a dollar

no alotta. the alcohol is used to remove the waxy layer from the leaf. then the new cells are exposed and when a hormone is introduced be it auxins or cytokinins new shoots grow. thats what the alcohol is for. i use bleach to sterilize the plant tissue. bleach rids the tissue sample of viruses.then wash with distilled water.

lol tws i got my cloning down. ask kona and ask my two buddies who ive been supplying clones to. 19 out of 20 took. and i have another 20 i gave away that should root. im doin tissue culture to keep good plants around. so i can grow a plant from a stock of tissue when i want. and keep it around. just by keeping a little piece of stem in a test tube.
