Yeah, I've been using the HB program, it's little complex though, it takes a few go's to get the hang of it. A bit of chemistry knowledge will help (or google), but it gives you a very nice walk through.
The corrupt file(s) might just be a missing update.ini, which just means that it won't update automatically.

Got some more Querkle x Vortex seeds, and I also got a shit ton of Blue Widow x Vortex from some rogue pollen... What do you guys think of crosses with a feminized mom?
I might pop one and stick it into 12/12 just to see what it turns out, the mother is good and stable so I don't think I would have any problems.
I also might pop a Querk x Vortex as well, I'm itching to see what that one is like.

I don't think there's nothing wrong with crossing to a fem plant.. Should be okay just watch it a little sharper since u know it could hermie.. But if mom was stable it should be okay

About half of the colas before the second round of trimming:
Some seeds, BWxV on the left, and that's just from the ones that fell out on their own, I have more to pick when the nugs are dry
and the QxV on the right, and I still have to harvest the main cola from that Querkle plant

I've been smoking on the BW and it tastes really good and burns very well, it def puts me in a mellow place. I really don't know how people grow crackly, bad tasting hydro, it really is too easy... and I didn't even flush
so much for "nutrients in the buds", lmao.... what a load...

I trim both when wet and dry, I've read that it helps 'break down carbs and retain more sugars' to trim after most of it is dry, but I don't know about that. I do it because I like cutting off all the green shit that has no trichs, so that when I make hash using the trim, it's mostly frost and not green matter.
I usually like to take off all the big shit first though.
And yeah, I haven't flushed in well over a year, I think flushing for the last couple weeks or whatever people do affects yield and such, plus I'd say the only time to flush is to leech excess salts.

Being that you are organic i dont thik you really need to flush...You r growing organic right?..
I made up my mind im switching to dwc. I will be building 2x18 gallon totes with 6 sites each and use them to flower. I will flower all plants i have now 89and start more when i build up the system which should be real soon..

My garden is half organic, and half hydro. The recent BW was hydro, finished with no flush. My last SOG was with Querkle (12 plants) in soil and Dyna-Gro, no flush. It all comes out the same, dank. I used to flush when I first started, but then I didn't flush a few times, and never noticed a difference, since then I haven't even thought about flushing and my buds get better and better. To each his own, I suppose.
It's simple plant chemistry, nutrients are converted into basic elements (whether it's hydro or organic, N is N, regardless of the source). Don't overfeed and you have anything to flush.
As they say, are you growing in a toilet? I can guarantee you there's something else going on if your buds taste like "chemicals". I've even tried bud from a grower here who doesn't have a final flush and feeds towards all the way to the end (personally I top off with just water the last few days) and that didn't taste like chem at all... you just gotta be a decent grower to pump out good buds.

So I got nearly 7 zips from the BW, although with the curing process and loss of excess moisture, I'd say it'll be around 6 zips. Which is good, I was hoping for 8 as the final number, but it's still not a failure. This was my first time with a big plant in hydro, and I think I vegged too long considering how much the Blue Widow stretched. The bulb I'm using as well is old as fuck and might be and the verge of burning out. Next round I'll change up whatever variables I think worked against me, and I'm sure it'll be a better yield.

I just got 2x5 gallon bucket dwc systems.. I might get new lids and do like 3 sites on each. I just don't want no make in the system because I will use this until the end.. I guess I'll see what's up.
