For all those wondering about red flags here is a woefull tale passed to me a few weeks ago by an associate...
It started with him saying "Don't order seeds online, please don't it's not safe." Now this fellow ordered quite a big batch from Simon at Serious Seeds. After a month or so nothing had arrived so he contacted Simon who happily resent the order. Of course the second batch didn't arrive so a third was sent before person X gave up on Serious stuff. Nothing happened at all for 2 years and then bam! Poor motherfucker got raided. The police told him the only reason they were on to him was because he kept ordering seeds but they waited 2 years to come knocking. Now person X had a significant dry amount as well as probably something growing, so needless to say, he is regularly piss tested on probation atm.
Now the important facts- He used his own adress= dumb fuck
- He used his own neame= dumb fuck
- His name actually sounds like a stupid made up name so it attracts attention, so again= dumb fuck.
This is a true story from a person I know in real life. What to take from this... Don't use your own name, address etc and don't use a fake name that sounds bogus or stupid. Change names and addresses regularly for orders in case something is flagged. Senders are flagged also, not just recievers, so spreading it between seedbanks is a good idea. I only mentioned this tale as there are a lot of people on here who are too blase about ordering seeds. If you don't cover your arse then yes you can get busted from ordering seeds and yes they may wait a year or two to make sure they get you with something going on. As far as what happened with the 7 orders from different seedbanks etc. mate it sounds like you have done it right and been super unlucky but bear in mind they can flag names, addresses and SENDERS. I would wait for mid Jan before writing them off totally, I just got seeds last week that I posted from europe myself like a month or more ago and that was priority mail.
