Hi I got 4 plants in a wordrode under a 400 hps, growing in soil and 38 days into flower. the last few days have been flushing them with tap water cuz id burnt the tips, i guess with over feeding them and now one plants bds are loookin wierd. Is this normal and will it fatten up like the rest of them?

that extrat GROWTH yo have on top... that spindly SHOOT is from over feeding... very common.. not a serious problem,.. the plant looks good..

I am also guessing hat your temperatures are running HIGH.... the leaves seem to be pointing UP... NOT curling up.. but pointing up... this is often a sign of HIGH temperatures..

You're guessing? Is there any particular reason the leaves point upwards when it is hot, or are you just guessing?

The reason his leaves are pointing upwards like that is simply to do with light quality. The leaves higher up will point upwards to accept the light, the leaves lower down will rest in more horizontal positions.

Mr West, your plants are fine.

leafs point up like that when its to hot usually,,,,the leaves are almost touching the bud,if the temp was right then the leafs would be more flat out to get more light,,,,,,,peace

Completely wrong... again, I'll put the same question to you mr skitz, why do the leaves point upwards when it's too hot?

When it's too hot, leaf edges will curl over to decrease surface area of the leaf. What is happening here, mr skitz, is that the leaves highrer up are pointing upwards to allow the leaves lower down to accept more light. Makes sense, yes?

Now let's hear your version.

You see it's perfectly natural for this to happen, and in fact if it doesn't happen then you are doing something wrong. Assuming the two of you here screwing up your advice have actually grown weed more than once, then surely you would know this.

Unless of course you just assume your grow rooms are too hot?

bad advice never helps ayone, and yes it does nark me when I see people spouting about things they know nothing about. Particularly when the bad advice is from somebody like Garden Knowm.

Excellent.... it is obviously a genetic thing, a different pheno to the others. Your plants look great and look to be in an excellent environment. I'm sure they'll provide you with an excellent smoke. You never know, the stretched pheno may make the best smoke.

oh yes the temps are a bit hgh, my fan broke after one week of being on 12 hrs a day ptffff grrr

of course it did mr west... why, that must mean that your leaves are pointing due to heat stress then. :/

Something that is perfectly natural, must be heat stress. hmmmm, and so the bullshit lives on. Thankyou, mr west.

yes me too dude. All I can do for now s keep the dors open and fan it periodcly with a dodgy roger daltry album lol. Iv raised the light to as high as it can go, whch s bout 15 inches off the highest plant. I shall be gettin a new fan asap but untill then rog will have to do lol. Cheers:mrgreen:

they still got bout 4 weeks left so its gonna be touch and go. I aint vegging for 2 an half months next time lol. might try 6 smaller plant in my box, 33ins by 20ins by bout 6foot. Prob veg for 6/7 weeks this next time.:joint::joint::joint:
