I don't know, Its looking pretty female to me, Those things do look slightly odd, they don't really resemble any pollen balls though. Only time will tell, but Hermies are quite a rare phenomenon, my bet is a female.

Hate to say it but thanks guys for the posts.

There is only 1 or 2 pods like this on the plant, I am starting to wonder if I should chop and salvage what I can or if I should let it grow. Keep in mind, I have one other plant in the room. Should I wait a few days?

If was me I would gently pull them off NOW but personal preference and you risk pollinating your other plant. Peace.

Even with another female in the grow room?

So... It was def a hermie. I was going to chop and trim it and decided to only chop the affected nodes off.

I basically topped the plant down to about 1/2 its size on week 5 of flower. What will happen now? Will the plant continue to flower or will all of its energy be directed to repairing the plant?

Day 35 of flower:

The only bananas were found on the top cola and one node down from the top cola. That is why I topped. I am more concerned about my other girl so I just got rid of the affected top.

Tbh man...I'd let em ride out. If you get some pollination then you get some pollination, BUT thats not to say you couldnt use the seeds later (when/if you find any). You've got another 4 weeks or so left which really isn't that long. Grow and learn man...and just so you know...if I ever have another hermie/male I've heavily contemplated letting it finish its life-cycle with another female just so I'd have all the beans in the world. If they're 2 decent strains then the result could be killer ;) If nothing else, next time try clipping/gently pulling off those pollen sacks and put them in a pill bottle or something. You never know....later down the road you could lose every plant you have and have to start over, BUT you'd have some pollen from decent shiz to make your own should you feel the need. Just food for thought man....I try to be optimistic in every situation as much as possible. Every grower has run into males/hermies and it just comes with the territory....take it in stride and try to figure out ways to make your grow cab better :D Pollen can come from ANYWHERE so being precautious is all you can do :/ Either way man, you'll have more than you started with and that's the part that matters. Cheers mate

Just because a female plant has a pollen ball or two on it DOES NOT make it a Hermie. How do you think feminized seeds are created? Under any amount of stress a female plant can and will show the odd male pollen balls, its quite common. Those are magnificent looking plants by the way, keep up the good work. Happy toking :blsmoke:
