There is absolutly no way to tell you how long it will take to grow 10" Even if you provide details down to how many pieces of bat shit are in your soil.

Vegging light cycles IMHO are best at 18/6.

The best suggestion I can offer is to read, study, plan, and act. Tons of great info here on RIU and friendly folks to help ya. Please click the link in my signature. You will find a video classroom from Grow masters for 1st timers. Best of luck!

why, if i get them to 10inches and flip the lights to 12/12 the plants get over 4foot and thats plenty big to get a good yeald
well it would be an awful lot of stretch thats for sure .. dont really like stretchy plants myself ,, as for good yield, i wouldnt recommend letting them stretch that much ... well i guess it also depends on whether your growin indica or sativa ..

happy growin

thanks for that info but i think its better to go with more light in the seedlings stage ive had better results, 16/8 on veg ive had plants react slow to the flip from 16/8 to the 12/12...and get better results if i use 18/6 then flip to 12/12....i grow using hydroponics and dont no if thats why im getting the results i do.......
