Lol, I didn't read this one til now. Didn't know it was about "likes" and "reps". I give the shit away like candy. I feel good knowing people will feel good seeing they have a new notification. I know I do.

Met a lot of cool people in my life . Many times they helped me out - they knew me . Here on RIU I met a lot of you who have helped me and never even met me . Helped and saved me money and time , as far as I can tell never gained a thing from it either . I think its because of sincerity and just good folks - cause thats what good folks do . Theres always a jerk somewhere it's like inevitable . Haters - maybe should be eliminated from this place . This is where I turn for alot of different things , and know that a whole bunch of others do too . Jail/prison is no f'n joke or place to be . All having the same goals on here - we have the same gains as well as the same risks . Why wish bad shit on anybody ? It's just stupid and undermining to the whole scene , all included . We should all be running to help , esp someone in need who has helped us out . Cannabineer has a solid point and I agree .

What's my biggest beef...BLATANT STUPIDITY AND IGNORANCE.
I have really only been actively posting here for 2 months even though I have been a member for a year. I spent most of that year learning from y'all and the web in general. I wanted to have some knowledge of cannabis cultivation so I would not sound like an idiot. I do not advise on issues I am unfamiliar with. And, I usually tell posters to get other's opinions as well.
BUT, when advice or suggestions are given and the OP claims to understand and then turns around and puts 3 more table spoons of cal/mag on 2 week old seedlings <---exaggeration....and then wants to know if a brown shriveled up thread of a plant can be revived! I see so many over complicated first grows going on in the newbie forum. People who have never grown anything but taller using advanced hydro systems, aeroponics, soiless mediums and a shit load of nutes and additives. Then when someone tries to tell them too simplify, suddenly they start spouting off about ppm, 6 different ph measurements, insecticides, fungus cures, compost tea mixes...yadda yadda blah blah. How many times I have wished I could grab them by the collar and scream at them, "IT IS A FUCKING PLANT AND WANTS TO GROW!!"
Again I don't claim my advice is golden rule. I have seen this kind of thing on hundreds of newbie threads that I never replied too at all.
But on the bright side of this BS is all the wonderful practically brand new equipment that ends up on craig's list a few weeks later for a fraction of actual cost! LOL!
I am a firm believer that ANYONE can LEARN to grow cannabis successfully. Yes some are natural born green thumbed 'cannabis whisperers', but the rest of us need practical instruction.
Another pet peeve is the overly simplistic answers that some seem to give...How many times have we seen a very well thought out question with pics and all pertinent info, answered with "Get some Cal/Mag". Infuriating! If you have a good suggestion too make, then at least take the time to explain to the poster WHY it is a good suggestion. People need to know what caused the issues in their grows so they can learn how to avoid these things in the future.

i fucking hate when it finally gets warm enough to open my windows for some air and people sit outside my house thumping corny wannabe music while i'm trying to watch tv.
seriously, why do you need to bang music out there for OVER AN HOUR while you stand around drinking 40s on the porch in your clothes that don't fit? most of these people don't even live here. they legit come and hang out on the porch before their friend even gets home.
