Demonstrate how what you call liberalism has helped the cause of MJ?this is the reason why i shouldn't be a mod, because now i am forced to call you an idiot.
i expressed my pride in liberalism for the fact that they were the ones on the side of the guy growing plants in his closet, and you accuse me of socialism and big government.
thus, you are an idiot. i would attribute it to you being a bully troll, but hanlon's razor dictates that i not ascribe to malice that which is explained by idiocy.
I had to go back and bold a key part of the California marijuana ban. State Board of Pharmacy....That WAS a bad year to be sure!!
i already did. the liberal supreme court justices dissented in gonzalez versus raich and said that the guy should have the right to grow plants in his own closet for personal consumption.Demonstrate how what you call liberalism has helped the cause of MJ?
You have to insult someone to get get noticed, or call them a racist.Once again, I have failed to spark a conversation about something that matters...
I would consider being called a racist an insult..You have to insult someone to get get noticed, or call them a racist.
Maybe the problem is that some people don't, even if they say they do.I would consider being called a racist an insult..
Well since you say Trust you, it must be so, I just have to have faith right? You just don't get it. Fine, seek huge all-powerful Government, don't listen to the guy who lives with it daily.
Trust me tho, bigger Govt equals less individual rights and more Welfare Dependency.
i agree that "bigger Govt equals less individual rights", but how were the liberal SCOTUS justices making that a reality by dissenting in gonzalez v. raich? You just don't get it. Fine, seek huge all-powerful Government, don't listen to the guy who lives with it daily.
Trust me tho, bigger Govt equals less individual rights and more Welfare Dependency.
Agreed. Conservative for some reason has to come with religious ties. The religious absolutely fail to understand the concept of religious freedom and freedom from religion.i agree that "bigger Govt equals less individual rights", but how were the liberal SCOTUS justices making that a reality by dissenting in gonzalez v. raich?
it seems pretty clear to me that the "small government" conservative justices were the ones who ruled in favor of stripping individual rights granted by the state.
You see you keep interrupting my posts from a partisan viewpoint which is exclusively an American thing. Just cos I call for small government doesn't make me a conservative the way you'd interpret it. I told you before, I'm a "pragmatic libertarian" in the sense that I know the rigid "political belief" (ie. left and right) system is broken but a complete overhaul of a "country's political system" is neither wanted nor desired by most of the population.i agree that "bigger Govt equals less individual rights", but how were the liberal SCOTUS justices making that a reality by dissenting in gonzalez v. raich?
it seems pretty clear to me that the "small government" conservative justices were the ones who ruled in favor of stripping individual rights granted by the state.
Completely false...Agreed. Conservative for some reason has to come with religious ties. The religious absolutely fail to understand the concept of religious freedom and freedom from religion.
Sons of Liberty anyone?America was a grand experiment. It was meant to get away from the tyranny and autocrats of Europe, where rule was imposed by imperialists and powerful, elite families. That is why this country is such an amalgam of people from all over the world, same with Canada, except Canada still has a Governor General (part of the British Crown). In America, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness was a new idea and it quickly spread. Homesteaders built this country, just as the farmers and the railroads. However, in recent years and decades, these "United States" quickly saw their governing region taken over by the Federal Government in all things. And big corporations are making up all the rules to suit their needs, the profits and the shareholders. Laws protecting mom and pop no longer matter when it comes to the bottom line. America is still an experiment and needs to be tweaked now and then to get it right. But this can't happen when there's this heavy hand of government and corporation preventing that. Otherwise, the lid will blow and there will be a revolution. Don't think it can't happen. History will show us that revolutions breed because of stagnant leadership. As well, when there's no confidence the government always uses force to quash uprisings, just like they're doing over in Syria and Egypt and Libya. If you don't think that can't happen here, think again.
i was punished every day in grade school when i refused to pledge allegiance due to the 'under god' part being in there. When was the last time a religious person persecuted you?
