I've been flushing 2 of my 6 for the last 4 days. After one more day of 12/12 they will be put in the dark... and will stay there for the next 48 hours. Then... chop. They are so ready.
These are supposed to be 9-11 week finishers. I will be chopping at 7.5 weeks. They are much more indica dominant than their sisters (shorter, bushier, larger colas)... So I'm thinking the earlier finishing time seams reasonable.

and when the plant I've been taking all these pictures of finishes in 3 days... This will become my new favorite to photo:
This one is more on track... thinking total of 9 -10 wks (2 more weeks). This one (along with 2 others not pictured) is also displaying the "grape-like calyxes" that nirvana described Blackjacks as having. The calyxes are probably 1.5 to 2 times larger than the plants that are finishing early... and not as far along yet.

PIC UPDATE BEFORE CHOP!!!
She's sitting in pure water with molasses for another day or two, then into the dark before chopping. I see very few amber trichs, but she's at 65 days and has stopped putting out new growth and all the fresh pink pistils she's been sprouting have matured/browned, it just feels right, finally.
when she was becoming a young lady she had the prettiest little pink pistils

i wont. i see that and shy away... its like when your at the bar and see a rasta gangster that has to smoke then turns out to be a cop. he arrested 3 kids for sellling weed and ex. undercover cop to me says "go to jail free"

hmmm, ya think they shoulda been selling weed and X blindly to people they dont know in a bar? Or where people they dont know (cops) can see it happen? They probably needed to go to jail for being dumb, get smart quick in jail.

Got my new setup finished so I'll take another pic...
I have the light pretty damn close and even when I put my hand on the plants and it don't burn sooooo (400w MH)

i never drink... but at our family christmas party I had to... to ease the stress and such. Well, I revealed to my cop in training cousin that I grow (or that while living in CA the last few years I grew... I can't remember). Really stupid mistake. But... he said in larger urban environments that police have far worse things to worry about than a guy who pays his property taxes and grows a few plants. Its when you start growing several plants... and start bringing in loads of cash... and start selling to kids on playgrounds... and start bringing in seedy people into your neighborhood... that you have to worry. I then got him and his wife high.

I used to sell meth to strangers out of a bar I was living at... now that was a bad idea. Thank God those days have passed.

BTW pot isn't a menace to society like other drugs. Generally, people don't sell their soul for a bag of weed. Its different from crack, meth, cocaine, anything else. Users of that stuff are more than willing... they're eager... to sell their soul for a fix. That's where police are focused. Don't get me wrong... they'll still bust you if you do something stupid. But they're not gunning for the law abiding pot heads... at least in the cities. I once brought an 8th to rural ND (as if there's an urban ND) and was told to be very careful. police out there don't have much else to do.

nah i dont think the cop was in the wrong. i just dont like the fact that they can get so close to someone then stab them in the back. i could never do that. a promise to a living human means more to me than a promise to a non-living organization.

oh and i do not drink or do any drugs. well maybe some shrooms or khat. because they are natural. i smoke weed but have been considering quiting not because i dont like it i just dont like the fact that i get high to often and my body hasnt had time to purify. i do not dink. it has to be the stupidest drug ever very similar to sniffing glue or almost sufficating bad for your brain and prolonged exposure leads brain damage. also heavy metals and toxins. but yeah i think drugs are terrible some are okay in moderation (im not the one to ask what moderation is)
