thats it, ive fucking HAD IT

they develop resistance so fast its ridiculous,
neem, 1 spray and its useless... built up resistance in a SINGLE application, as subsequent following applications had ZERO effect
pyretherins, they just take it and keep on going
safers, what a joke!
dichotomous earth did NOTHING to help control reproduction....
bacillius thuringus, worked for about a week... built up resistance to that too.
50 million nematodes in the soil.. and another 50mil sprayed on the plants... didnt do a damn thing.
NOTHING works.

they keep coming back in larger numbers every time

someone give me the name of the most extreme chemical insecticide you know of that is available today, IF YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT GIVING ME SOME STUPID FUCKING ORGANIC METHOD OF INSECT CONTROL... GO FUCK YOURSELF.

I suspect that the pyrethroids and neem killed the nematodes stone cold dead. Not something that should be used in combination... IF not, did you keep applying the nematodes or was it a single shot..? And have you tried using more than one species at a time..? This SHOULD work as long as you keep applying for a month or so - the same amount of time the thrips takes to go through a cycle. Alternatively, you could try a Garlic based insecticide. Works well with aphids and low rate infestations of spider mites on indoor plants, might work for thrips too. A chilli based spray may also be useful as it's a major irritant to little insects. Importantly, you don't really want to spray your gear with really nasty chems because you should be inhaling it sometime soon... And no I won't go fuck myself for trying to help, sorry blud. :0p

sand,sticky traps,hot shots,h020,neem and if that does not work burn the house down. I had a real mess and used everything I listed and with in two weeks i have 0 bugs

neem/nematoads were seperate applications 3 weeks apart from eachother.
as for spraying down with chemical insecticides i dont really give a shit at this point, the plants are 12" tall and have 4 1/2 months left in their life, anything that gets sprayed now, wont exist by the time flowering comes around, and there wont be a trace of by the time i harvest....
the plants are young, very young.

i have been battling these thrips, since last august in my mom room... i have tried everything that you all have listed, 4x over.... chemicals, im looking for chemicals, not more organic hippie bullshit methods

its called Eight insect controll by Bonide. the link i posted is a PDF of the label you will have to search for it in your area. i bought mine at a local Agway. gl with your pests.

hahahaha thanks man, i really dont like using it to be honest as im trying to grow organic (not because im a hippy) because i think that it will produce a much better product. but you aint gonna have any product if the bugs eat it all. good luck on your venture. you may want to consider how they got there in the first place and go preventive next go around, maybe try a different type of soil or whatever may be the cause leading to your problem.

i agree, ive been trying to switch to a full organic lineup of nutrients... but when it comes to a problem pest thats developed such a resistance, im left with no choice... they are going to die... Period.

can you drown them? i mean you could always let your plants sit in a bucket of water for 12 hours to drown any larvea and remove everything from your grow and spray the shit out of the tent/room with the chemicals. then clean it out real good and put the plants back in.

i dont really know shit about Thrips.

Thrips are serious and you need to deal
with them right away. I had an outbreak in my collection and there can be
serious damage done, that and thrips carry and spread a very serious plant virus
that is causing huge problems for growers.
I did not have
much luck with most attempts from soapy water, neem or alcohol. All of these
methods worked but I did not see the thrips disappear until I used a systemic
insecticide.

basically same experience im having... need something STRONG

inside of 5 days they develop resistance to traditional methods

my issue is locating that insecticide thats going to do what I NEED to be done

well hopefully you can thry thet Eight shit out and it works, i dont know how super strong it is but it is safe to use on veggies which is a good thing for spraying ot on your crop
