Found a mushroom

So yea I was outside and found a mushroom. I live in california and most mushrooms here that are poisonous are big white ones. I think im going to eat it. I do have a question though, if it is bad, I'll puke it up. But how long do shrooms take to trip? Because ill just puke after the time it takes to kick in if it doesnt. And I've done my research and it seems to me that this one is hallucinagenic, but idk just makin sure and being cautious.

if you fuck up and eat a bad one they can cause harm as soon as you eat them. puking them up won't do shit for you if they are poisonous.

Haha I ate it/them. Nothing happened they just tasted like raw mushrooms and crunchy from dirt.

HAha Im just pissed I didnt trip hahaha. but yea i am lucky I guess, I'm pretty aware of the mushrooms that can kill though.

man this reminds me of when my friend went picking for liberty caps which grow here every october-november time and he came back with a total of 3,000 Death caps and 3 liberty caps lol

it was so embaresing

Ive never heard of that,but I dont know shit about mushrooms either. Death caps. lol DONT EAT THOSE DEATH CAPS!

Buy a field guide to mushrooms if your going picking.Those poisonous ones can look a lot like edible ones.people do die every year from this cause. spend the money and get the book,it's cheaper than having your stomach pumped!!

Do some research, a mushroom that contains psychoactive properties will have a blue print... Not meaning it's safe to eat but will greatly diminish the search.

dude. TERRIBLE idea. ALWAYS know what your eating. Do your research, and SPORE PRINT!!!! and not ALL have a blue print, the color varies. I've had psi. mushrooms go from brown, to blue, to purple, to black. All of which have fucked me up, and none of which have made me sick at all. i pick all the psi's i have ever eaten. Right out of yards and fields here in the NW.
