So im re-doing this bc of the recent delete of data.

First time with veggies. Made the mistake of trying to paper towel germ them-this community steered me away, and ill just soak them for a few hrs then straight to some promix n perlite n worm castings-my mj mix

using my earthjuice for nutes later on-gotta keep it organic.

got a variety of veg: toms, cucumbers, bell peppers, eggplant, watermellon, and some Jamacian hot chocolate habaneros.

starting them tm, so they should have a good 4-5 weeks be4 the frost. tilled my soil and mixed in some organic matter.

as with mj ill expect little, so i wont be dissapointed.

ill post pics when shit starts happening. tips and tricks greatly appreciated, got my beans from baker creek as i was told to stay away form like beef steak toms and what not.

my girl tried to tell me the same thing i always drop my seeds in soil or a bowl of water(best for mj seeds). this is my first go around with veggies to; i got cucumber, squash, tomatoes Cherie tomatoes, green peppers, purple pepper, hot pepper all colors and types, and snap pea's ; but do you know if like MJ if any of these can planted in the same pot ?(symbiotic root system) i have a ton of plants(didnt think most of them would pop) and i only have enough room a 1/3 in my 3 gal pots and another 1/3 in the 4 30 gal pots i figured i could plant like 4-6 plants in them; like tomatoes and Cherie tomatoes snap peas and green peppers; the other 1/3 i ws just gonna put in my grow room in real small pots wait till these are done and then replant them for a fall harvest or just keep them in there till i have enough room in flower....

anyway i planted 2 cucumber seedlings in a 3 gal pot is this foolish? i really dont have enough pots(not buying more its just the other pots i have are big and space is an issue) or dirt(organic mix i made myself just plant watering with a couple scoops of all purpose organic fertilizer haven't picked one yet was just thinkin guano and im not buying dirt im doing this because i have too much dirt already)

Thanks! Supposedly the hot chocolate is one of the best varieties of habaneros, im hoping to get a few successful fruiting plants.

That's a great idea. But it doesn't burn plant tissue? Don't want to throw the baby out with the bath water so to speak.

So almost everything sprouted so far except the hot chocolates-Only one sprouted out of 13, kinda disappointed but its only been a week so ill keep faith.

In case anyone is interested i stumbled across a site the specializes in all varieties of hot peppers, i am going to give them an order. But the orders dont ship out till later in the season, apparently they sell out early in certain varieties so place orders early. They are ran out of NJ and apparently they swear to have the healthiest live plants-all reviews say they are amazing. Minimum orders are 12 plants in any variety and at ~3.50$/plant and shipping it will probably cost around 55$. They also have tomatoes and eggplants but im probably just going to go for the peppers.

so i left my popup green house outside all day, apparently it got too hot in there at some point, all my lettuce sprouts wilted and fell over-some have recovered and popped back up. a few cucumbers wilted but i have a whole tray of them so im not too worried. everything else was fine, guess they cant handle that heat this early in their lives.
