Good news for michigan genetics

So a buddy i know has been working on putting michigan genetics on the map. He has been growing some pineconning paralyzer(michigan native strain) for years and years and has been breeding it for as long as hes had it and hes finally got something special. He crossed his female PP with a male Sour Diesel. very stout male with good genetics, extreme vigor, thick branches, etc. He was bragging about his good this shit was and i didnt believe him at first. Now a year later he showed me his new strain. He crossed the PPxsour diesel plant with grape ape and OH MY GOD. Ive been smoking weed for 15 years, ive been to amsterdam for the cannabis cup had a judge pass, ive been to cali, and this weed is up there with anything ive ever smoked. Colors are out of this world, the buds are like baseball bats, smell is something like the distinct sour diesel smell we all love with a little mango. He took it to the lab and its 22% thc. Hes started selling clones to dispensaries in the GR area and its been hype as fuck. He calls it "great lakes grape". If you find a clone of this stuff in your dispensaries, dont hesitate to pick 1 up. Flowering times are 8-9 weeks, high yielder and a wonder for the senses. Oh and he grows out his clones before he sells them so all you have to do is put them in flower . hes the man lol

I wont post pictures because i dont trust this site too much but i know people will as soon as it makes it way around the murder mitten.

peace and love from mi

I've been hearing about that stuff for years. I hunt in that area, always hoped to run into another smoker at a bar that had some.

At least something good comes from there, talk about hard times. God what a brutal economy up there. I used to insure a big tower in town, he's been hit hard.

I didnt think pineconning paralyzer was all that great It was the cheapest and least effective at all the dispensaries in my area. I would put my rp og kush up against it any day.

If you can PM me lab results, I will buy some cuttings. Does Michigan Genetics have a web site?
Not sure of meaning of this thread. If it's 22% I will take oz, cuttings, and or seeds.
For all the Pinconning Paralyzer fans. Just a quick thought from an East Sider. Pinconning is known for cheese. I stop at the expressway exit and buy the Super sharp Pinconning cheese.
I would like more info. You spell Pinconning wrong and dude bread this for years without adding cheese. The main reason I would want this is to add cheese and call it pinconning cheese. All these marketing classes wasted?

Cheese is good. Pretty popular in breeding too. Not sure how rubbing the buds under your nuts would help? That may be a little too local.

he gives a copy of the lab reports to the lab when he gives them cuttings so if you ever see it at a dispensary they will have the papers! if u want bud the dispensary is where u gotta get it sorry. And of course hes crossed it with cheese. Hes tryed it many times and got GOOD plants but not GREAT ones. After so long u get bored and try new interesting crosses and luckily he found one sexy bitch of a plant.

Im not here to say its the best weed ever but to let everyone know whats smoking good right now. so to all u bitches and douchebags shut up cause im not listening. keep it to yourself. and if u ever see some at a dispensary...TRY IT...buy a gram and try to tell me that it wasnt worth it. PEACE

22% is a bit of a stretch...I wanna see a pic as well..
22% IS pretty high...but not out of the question. I gro a strain that is consistantly over 20%, but it's a true Sativa...I am not sure what the genetics line for this strain really is. I'd like to see the other values..thcv in particular. High thc strains are generally not the choice for pain meds, but rather nurological ailments..from depression to ms to parkinson's, and thcv value then matters as well.

I had some pinconning paralyzer when I first got legal it wasent the best by any means but the only reason I remember smoking that strain was because I left a small bud in my snow pants pocket and forgot about it, and went on an airplane ride to Wyoming to go snowmobiling. I was pretty stoked when I found it while I was unpacking in the lodge!:joint:

With any strain, the grower has a lot to do with how good it turns out. Genetics only offer potential..not results.

It took me 2 years to maximize the strain I grow. I grow organically, and getting the soil mix right, figuring out the temps and co2 levels that work best, when and how much uvb lighting to give them to draw out the thcv..I pretty much guarantee I could give anyone a healthy clone, and they couldn't grow it out as well as I do. I get numbers very similar to those this strain is claiming.

By the same token, I doubt very much I could grow a new strain and get max performance from it.

No nutrient program or soil mix is ideal for every strain. Each strain has it's ideal mix and timing of nutrients, it's best light schedule (12/12 is for amateurs, or those trying to grow multiple strains under one light system, which is a compromise) Ideal temps, especially night temps at the end of flower, and it's preferred co2 level and schedule (IE: when and how far to cut back towards the end of flower)

It's pretty darn easy to grow good cannabis. It's a lot different story to grow exceptional cannabis. And they only way to know what you really have is to test it.

My first tested grow with my current strain came back at 17%thc with .9 thcv..and very minimal cbd/cbn numbers.

After 2 years of working it, I get 21 to 22 thc, between 2.2 to 2.5 thcv, and still have really low cbd/cbn numbers.

Not a great strain for pain, but really nice for ptsd, depression and neurological disorders (I have Parkinson's) just don't try and sleep on it. It's very, very "motivational"
