Good question. I want to SCRoG too.

Just to narrow it down a bit these are my options for next grow.....

Maybe this will help you narrow it down for both of us:weed:

So my circumstances involve a hot room and lots of airflow (and CFL's).

I'd be very interested to hear about various strains that like hot (85-90 degrees) and fairly humid conditions 50-60% RH pretty much throughout the grow.

I have a selection to choose from -

Hindu Kush - Kiwi Seeds

Multiple Bag seed stemming from multiple quality plants.

Veneno - EVA

Blueberry Gum - G13 seeds

MK Ultra - TH Seeds

Fruity Chronic Juice - Delicious Seeds

NLxBig Bud - World of Seeds

Bubba 76 - Emerald Triangle

OG Kush - Dinafem

Blue Hash - Dinafem

LSD - Barney's Farm

Dr Grindspoon - Barney's Farm

Pineapple Express - G13 Labs

Green-0-Matic - Green House Seeds

Cheese Wreck - Seedism

Connie Chung - DNA

Blue Cheese - Barney's Farm

Lemon Diesel - Emerald Triangle

Super Lemon Haze - Green House Seeds

Tangerine Dream - Barney's Farm

Moby Dick - Dinafem

Critical + Auto - Dinafem

Have about 50 bagseed which are probably fine in hot temps. Might try them next for fun. Either that or a SCRoG involving just 2 plants like Super Lemon Haze and either Blue Cheese or Hindu Kush.

However I do want to grow a haze/sativa type dominant plant next grow.

Fruity Chronic Juice is another indica cannabis strain from the Delicious Seed bank. Feminized seeds of this variety are a result of breeding experiments with an original strain of White Widow. This new strain has a fresh and floral taste so popular in Dutch coffee shops. 90% indica, this cannabis is said to have a great medical value and is used as a relaxant, effective for anxiety, pain, nausea, appetite stimulation, sleep, muscle spasms and tremors. Like any other indica dominant variety, Fruity Chronic Juice feminized possesses a strong resistance to mould and mushroom and shows an ability cope well with a mild stress. She produces short dense plants with broad leaves of a dark green shade suitable for indoor and outdoor cultivation. A compact structure makes this plant ideal for gardens where space might be an issue. Mature plants are very pretty with large flowers turning into chunky nuggets in just 50-55 days. When growing indoors, feminized seeds of this marijuana variety respond well to all growing methods and produce a yield of 450 gr per m2 after typically indica's 7-8 weeks. Outside harvest starts in the middle of September and is as good as 500 gr of great marijuana per plant. By the end of flowering, a nice floral aroma starts to appear and remains in the cured product. Fruity Chronic Juice is agreed by expects to be in the list of the strongest indica marijuana varieties in the world, her THC content is 17+% with a nice sweet taste. Marijuana of this indica has a relaxing social high, which allows you to sense and feel the environment, but does not lead to thinking or analyzing the experience.

Nice cut and paste. Never take the breeders word at 100% especially when it comes to flower time and potency. These are the selling points which all growers choose strains by. Go with what is known to be proven or just go with a seed company with a good reputation. You can grow any strain in a scrog the most important part is that it is one strain or even better one pheno that way they will all stretch to the same height, have the same water and nutrient requirements and all finish around the same time. I would avoid strains which stretch an exorbitant amount unless you are experienced with such.

ok thank you. I want a strain that will grow tall enough to reach the screen. I have lowryder#2 autos growing now. I now autos are not good for scrogging. Thats why I am asking others, what strain they use or would use.

Currently I have Jilly bean and sour diesel kush going in my scrogs. Autos will not work in a scrog. The only thing to do with autos is let them do guerillas thing I would not even lst or top an auto just plant water feed and cut. It might be a better idea to grow a few strains without a scrog and try some topping and lst. The key I have found to scrogging is being able to manage plant height and canopy width. Also once you have plants in a scrog they are stationary and that means you must have planned correctly or you will run into problems which will be harder to fix.

so I am getting a tent that is 3W x 2D x 5T. I am thinking of using a 4tube t5 or a 250watt hps/mh light. I was curious how many plants would be good for a tent and light like that?

i'm interested in SCROG too. I am legally limited as to the number of plants i can grow, so i want to get the most yield per plant i can (genetics, environment etc all being equal). I too am thinking of cheese... I hate it when people ask yield questions bec ofc yield depends on genetics, grow enviroment, stress, etc... but just ballpark, how much does SCROG typically increase the yield?

Check out this RIU member SCROG of a G13 pineapple express.

He rocked the shyte out of the grow with a 400W bulb. One of my favorite grows on RIU, or anywhere else for that matter...

wow thats amazing on he did with that plant. I have always used soil. I have been curious about the waterfarm thing. so do you plant the seed in the in the clay balls? how does that work? or do you germinate the seed 1st?
