MY temp is at 91f 80mm cpu fans, intake on bottom, output on top of enclosure, using 2 26w daylights right now, i have 2 more pair but temp is just too much right now.

How can i cool it down significantly to 75F?

i couldn't figure out how to delete my sn under that name so i made a new one,

Anyway its not next to a heater actually i think it was just that my apt was so warm today, had my door open for awhile when it was really nice out.

Temp guage showed 86 inside today, forgot to switch the themostate over to a/c. But have and in the last hr internal temp has gone from 91 to 86*, i also put a bowl of icecubes next to the air intake. Humidity is at 31%.

J/w really what can i use for smell provention during flowering? Carbon filter on the output?

This is just random bagseed, pretty much from either midgrade, or outdoor beasters. I rarely smoke mid so most likely outdoor beast.

The little guy is at .5" and showing its first pair of scerrated leaves, right at 1/4" long as of now. Repotted today from a shot glass, into an 8".

Hopefully this will keep the temp down, i let the temp get way out of hand today with the door open.

86 to 90 is fine during veg......just make sure you dont let the temp fluctuate to much...keep it steady and the plant will adapt

What about during flowering, is that temperture too high or will it actually stress the plant allowing greater yield?

I hope i get that far, i do have a few more seeds in a damp paper towl/open bag, between some warm electronics, if i get a decent outcome, and learn this go round, and can pull it off without any hassles, then i will look into better genetics than i currently have, which is what i'm really waiting on.

Thanks for the help.

you should check out leds.......i just got five of the 168 counts to replace my 9 23w cfls in my veg chamber.....i might try them through flower......if it goes good im gonna replace my hps with leds also...they stay so cool.....and the kids seem to soak them up

Well i woke up this morning, lights had been on for 5hrs, the 2 pair, or 4 23wers, and temp was at 101F, wtf is going on inside my space.

I have white paper acting as reflector on all surfaces including bottom, intake fan on bottom, output fan directly centered on top above the cfl's.

I took 1 pair of the lights out and put more ice near the intake fan, temp is at 84F now 25mins after first checking it.

why am i getting so much heat from them? I have plastic sockets from lowes, would the ceramic ones from walmart reduce my heat any...?

Lights are parralleled into 120v, fans are parralleled off of 7.5v.

Would using some type of tube for channeling purposes work, with the input output directly at the plant?

Hey im having a similar problem, I would try wiring the the fans to a 12v adapter, makes them spin faster and move more air.

Will try using both as outputs, if that dosent work then i'll invest in larger fans.

Will update later with temp results after i modify the fans.

I used the 7.5v because i had it just laying around.

Plexiglass!!! I use 12 cfl's in a rubbermaid I put plexiglass underneath the lights the plexiglass is touching 3 sides of the box and there is an inch or so gap on one side. I have a 6 inch 250cfm fan pulling air out of the box and over the bulbs and exhausting into a carbon filter. The bix stays at 75 degrees and the exhaust is 100. I also use an intake fan and a fan for circulation my intake is twice as powerful as my outake, hope this helps! I got the plexiglass from lowes where they also cut it for you.
