no no nooooooooo don't mix multiple FF nutes in one bucket of water...

be sure when adding nutrients to the water, you never mix any two nutrients together even if they both should be used at the same time. Always add the nutrients to the water separately.

dont trust all the knowledge they have becuz some of them r idiots. some r good cats but most of them r just earning a paycheck and try to be helpful but not always the case.

Yea I know., I was hesitant about the guy in the hydro store at first .. I thought he would just try and sell me anything.. But he's really cool, I've called the store asking questions & it seems like he always knows the answer. The one time he didn't m, he actually researched it & called me back with the info ( I think how to use my ph meter) but who does that?? After that , I never felt uncomfortable spending $ in his store.. I dont feel like I'm getting ripped off.. & I like the fact that's a small independently owned shop.. He owns it, works the register , stock , everything... Much more personable than some of the other bigger hydroponic shops which rush you out to get to the next customer if your not spending like $500 .. I sound like an ad lol.. But for the most part what I'm saying is Is I take a stance similar to berkmans.. I will absorb any wisdom given to me.. I can't doexactly as someone els says, o must see what works for me personally.. But I do value the opinions of others who are more experienced than me & will def take their opinion into consideration.

I feel you bro, I ain't growing anything but MJ until I have a yard and I can do it for cheap. I can buy all that other shite much cheaper than growing my own, but not the sweet sweet MJ. One day I am gonna have a greenhouse and I am gonna grow all sorts of stuff.

i hate paying good money for seedling plants at the local garden center. so i buy seeds and start them indoors on the same cart i use for my MJ seedlings. in another month i'll be able to move the non ganga outside. but some of what i am growing will be used to help mask the sweet weed smell. So i'll put the fragrant flowers in containers just outside the doors where there is likely to be foot traffic. so far, for fragrant flowers i have jasmine, lilac, peony, allysum, thyme and rosemary. oh and catnip ofc but that's just weed for the kitties once i clear some space on my seedling cart, i have some lemon balm, sage and chives ready to start. i'd rather spend 4.98 on 500 seeds than $6.00 for one seedling.

FWIW, i grow mine in 5 gallon black plastic nursery pots. I think its a good size for the root network. But i also use them bec they were free! i called a local nursery retailer and asked if they had any for sale. the guy said he gets buried in those pots this time of year and he was happy to be rid of them. So he gave me 20 for free!

Another thing... Yesterday it said stranger next to my name & now it says learning how to roll a blunt.. I appreciate the recognition but who is in charge of saying how advanced I am.. I'm not sure I get exactly how this works... Did someone give me rep, because I did see I somehow have 10 rep points all of the sudden, or is everyone started with 10 rep points??? Any help on this would also be appreciated .. And 4 the record... I been knew how to roll a blunt, I'm from da hood.. We learn that right after potty training Lol, I'm just learning to grow my own.. Now that's more accurate!!! Just bustin balls out here (love when white ppl say that lol)

Great job on the cloning! Your plants look healthy too so it looks like you are on your way. One thing that I am learning with cloning and when to transplant is that if you wait longer to transplant, like when their are actual root balls, you will get much better results. This eases the stress of transplanting because they are stronger and are more ready to start growing like crazy. You will probably see some signs of stress from your recent transplants but steer the course and don't overfeed or over water them because they are very fragile right now.
Thanks for the words of support.. & btw, in ur free time u should be a youth recreational basketball coach or something.. That was a pretty uplifting & inspirational speech u gave there.. I feel rocky when he ran up those steps (can't remember which rocky that was) but yea.. Thanks a lot

Thanks for the info on the ppm.. & do u really think the fertilizers give the bud a noticeable taste difference.. Or let me re-phrase that. Do u think me as a person who has only smoked commercially grown bud with the exception of my 1 previous aerogarden grow in which I didn't even cure the bud, will be able to taste whether it was grown organically or not? That's interesting cuz I was actually thinking of going organic in the future.. Still tryin to decide whether it's a bunch of hippie b.s. Or is it really worth it. & the bit u were talking about pot size is also interesting.. Early in this thread I asked about pot sizes cuz I wanted to know if for my set up & yield expectations I need needed to consider a pot upgrade.. I'm currently in a 3 gallon for my cc .. And the other two are in 1 gallon. 1 more question my friend is doing a grow in his back yard & since he has no indoor set up like me , he is looking for a maximum yield this grow season.. What size pots do u suggest to pull a qp or 1/2 lb?? & what strains do u grow with the knowledge that it gets kinda cold in the fall here (50-70 degrees average)

Nute selection is very important but flushing and curing properly (and genetics!) is what will give your bud optimal flavor and aroma.

Hey sims the nutes and the end result i will tell you how i came to that conclusion i had two plants that were clones so they were the same genetically they were in the same soil everything was the same except or the amt of nutes i gave each the one that i jacked up with nutes all through flowering yielded a little bit better but the one i didnt jack all up with nutes tasted great and smelled even better than number one. I am a supertaster tho so that could be part of the reason i have more taste buds on my tounge than the avg person. Your friend growing in the back yard should go with atleast a ten gallon pot for my 10 outdoor plants each one will be planted in a 40 gallon smart pot. the soil alone is going to cost me 500 bucks to fill thm hopefully it pays off end of summer tho. I have seen that some growers use the 200 gallon pots to grow in but i dont have the money to fill those. Remember the bigger the root system the bigger the plant

if your plants are in three gallon containers you will atleast get a couple ounces of each of those plants i could almost guarntee

no just mix them in with the water seperately. micro first. make sure its mixed up really good then add ur bloom or grow or whatever u need. dont mix it all up in a pint glass then poor it into ur res. never mix nutes while they r concentrated together without enough water to dilute them. some nute brand will cause a lot of wierd shit to happen like lockouts and stuff.

I get an empty gallon container (Poland springs bottle) I fill it with water (tap) let it sit for about 2 days to let chemicals evaporate. I then on the morning I plan in feeding, mix in 1 nutrient , stir , next nute, stir & so on... I think I'm getting the hang of the nutrient mixing. I'm bout to step my mix game up.. Like young jeezy said, "it's all in the wrist". Sorry if I just got too black 4 y'all lol

Occasionally.. But not so much.. For the most part it acts like any other pot.. As long as your soil is loose & airated ( idk if that's spelled correctly) the water should flow through the path of least resistance . Only if I never turned the top of my soil do I think I might encounter a problem with water dripping out the sides.. But I obviously give my soil a nice turning at the top every now & again, so I've never got to see.. But really.. If u get air-pots u can pretty much treat them the same as any regular pot.
