Probably none of them will be friendly. Your best bet is to keep EVERYTHING stealth if youre going to grow.

Hit Ypsi, skip the trailers tho. Lots of rentals. Some landlords like growers cuz they pay bills. I was looking online there are a lot of houses cheap as fuck along Michigan Ave, like Inkster just crazy cheap and you can buy many of these on land contract. Best way to go with grow and dogs, believe me. You are looking for an apartment they have 900 sq ft houses cheap. Look for one with a basement.
A friendly landlord can be found in Ann Arbor, it's a very liberal town... mine is cool with my activities.
Their biggest concerns are safety/liability. You need to seem professional, sharp, and not like a stoner for them to be okay with it. You may have to explain that there is an average of only one grow related fire per year in Michigan and it's always because of someone stealing power/wiring stuff funny. Reassure them you're not going to pull such stunts, pennies in the fuse box etc. They need to know they can't get in trouble with the law for letting you grow. Promise them the odor will never make it past your door and if it does, you'll take drastic action immediately (it's hard to rent if the building reeks of fresh mj).

Ultimately I think gladstoned's advice is the best though, if I didn't have to live where I am for other reasons I'd be buying some fixer upper house for 10k in Ypsilanti and setting up in a basement. Great for DWC, the cold concrete basement floors keep the water cool.

"Each outlet is now on its own circuit, each with a 30 amp fuse..." How I wish I could do this. My entire apt has one single 15 amp fuse.Offer to upgrade the electrical service for free!

IMO it would be a great place for us to live. No landlord, no neighbors, no cops (they're swamped with real crime), no mortgage, no rent. Property taxes are steep though and the city gov won't reappraise anything, but you can just not pay them, and buy your house back for a dollar at the tax auction every year.

inhabited by what...? transients, crunky speak-easyz and all kinds o' wildlife. things like birds, possums and wolves, no-less. think i'd chance ypsi b4 full-on (dtown) mad-max scenario. maybe there are niche neighborhoods just about anywhere. high-traffic corners w liquor stores, etc. are just asking for strange happenings.. cheap real estate like never before, pick a winner, -follow the 'rules'- and work smart..

It will be very hard to find a landlord that is MMMP friendly. I would recommend keeping your grow confidential.

Bob has a thread started teaching Yoopers how to sell weed to Wisconsin. You can have strippers from Hurley (heard a rumor Belle, heard a rumor) stash grocery bag of dollar bills in the woods and give your cordinates, then you give cordinates of meds. He has a very good idea. That can help get you through until Wisconsin gets legal. Sucks they may be last ones to get legal. I bet if it was acohol over again Wisconsin would be lieral as fuck then! lol.
