Yo co2 boosts are not a waste of time. If you do not own one or never had that u cant say shit sorry. Yea co2 tanks are "better". And to tell u the truth i had the regulater bought and was going to buy a tank, then my friend bought the boost bucket and the results were just as good as when my friend had a co2 tank. He was getting sick of re-filling it all the time. So i mean if u have a decent space to work with than co2 tanks, regs, and monitoring is the way to go. Another thing when u buy the boost bucket you dont have to get a co2 monitor. Which if you run a co2 tank or burner without a decent co2 monitor (min $450) then thats a waste of your time and money. The boost bucket is made to have direct contact with the plants not to keep a certain level of ppm's. I am this upcoming week dropping money to buy an envromental control, and a co2 monitor and i will be running two co2 boosts in a 4x8 tent compltely sealed, Air Cooled Relectors are the way to go with co2, you get better effecincy. Like you guys said there are so many factors in making co2 work effectively, thats obvoius. But what im trying to say is the boost bucket you can buy and with just some common sense you can make it work. Boost Bucket, Sealed & Controled Enviroment, and Air cooled relectros are preffered. Any indoor grow room should be sealed anyways for controll over temp, humid, ect *at least during day period* Rather you buy a regulator $140, co2 tank $100, co2 monitor $480, ect. Im not bashin anyone just makeing this reputation on the co2 bucket true, cause its not bad its acually pretty impresive and easy to use.
