would I be able to put a 600 watt bulb in a 1000w ballest or would it blow the bulb when i turn it on

Don't feed the trolls. It's a fast way to get oust and say something that can get you band. Trust me. Just block them or skip the retarded shut they say.How you gonna call someone stupid when you can't even spell "because" "laziness""something" "knew" "as well" "irrelevant".
if u wanna bitch about lazy ppl this site is def. the place to do it lmao. Who cares... i hav wondered something similar at one point before and never asked. I had a 1000watt MH ballast and didnt know it, was a noob and got a shit load of equipment for a tiny amount of weed considering. There was a label that was on the ballast but wasnt labeled with a marker or pen or whatever it was just scratched in so u could only see it in the right lighting. N e ways i had a 400watt MH 3200k sunmaster bulb in it and thot it was pretty hot and bright for a 400watt bulb or ballast (thinking it was a 400watt HPS ballast switchable ballast at this point and misunderstood the guy i got it from) so i took it in to my local grow shop and they check it out regardless of my founding of the label. That is my story and i wonder the same thing lol. I figured it was a bad idea too so i grabbed a 1000watt MH bulb. This is not a dumb question tho, no question is a dumb question, if ur reading what seems to be a dumb question to u then u clearly need to take a minute and look at what ur doing with ur time. and again, his laziness is whats irrelivant. and no i cant spell either cuz im lazy as shit so ha this is all fun for me hope theres an educated explanation slash answer
so so so very true. warlock speaks words of wisdom.Don't feed the trolls. It's a fast way to get oust and say something that can get you band. Trust me. Just block them or skip the retarded shut they say.
i'm gonna stick with my digis. they run cooler, run quieter, run more efficient, fire quicker, warm up faster, and i've never had a problem.i poop on dimmable slash digital ballasts, every expert will tell u an old magnetic ballast is by far better then a digital ballast it many aspects. Is a 1000watt HID bulb meant to be dimmed, hell no, its meant to run at highest potential
I'm have to disagree. I have 2 dimmable 1000 ballest. 400/600/1000. I do match the bulbs to the wattage I want. But with the digital ballest the RF problem is fix. No more pissing off the nabors cus they can't watch tv or hear the radio without a humm.i poop on dimmable slash digital ballasts, every expert will tell u an old magnetic ballast is by far better then a digital ballast it many aspects. sorry I just dislike it when someone chastises someone else for no good reason. 9/10 the post is ironically full of more grammar and punctuation mistakes than I can count. I am not worried about getting banned, I didn't say anything inappropriate. Thanks for looking out though...Don't feed the trolls. It's a fast way to get oust and say something that can get you band. i was reading that on a thread here as well. in theory it sounded like a great idea. the guy who was talking about it though said that you needed to use a specific splitter and bulb. haven't looked into it anymore but i'll check around and see if i can find the thread and i'll send you a link.sorry I just dislike it when someone chastises someone else for no good reason. 9/10 the post is ironically full of more grammar and punctuation mistakes than I can count. Back on subject, what about using a splitter? My friend keeps saying that I could get a 1000 watt ballast and hook up 2 600s and he would hook me up with the fitting. I have thought about it. Is that safe?
Yes there is a splitter that will do it. It's cheep. Ether CAP or sunleaves supply has them. Never used them. But I don't see how 1000w will split to 1200w but I'm not a lighting guy.sorry I just dislike it when someone chastises someone else for no good reason. 9/10 the post is ironically full of more grammar and punctuation mistakes than I can count. That will help if you have only a 1000.
