This year, I'm outdoors again but keeping track of what I'm growing and how it does. I have 1 Trainwreck, 1 White Widow, 1 Blue Widow, 1 Green Crack, 2 Blue Haze, 1 Blue Kush, 1 unknown for grins-and-giggles and 4 Blue City Diesels. I call it my Smurf Garden because of all the blue strains. All were clones obtained from a friend in Grants Pass and a patient resource center in Ashland. I have one BCD in a pot that's outside right now but I'm planning on playing with it indoors when I buy some lights on pay day. I put the first 1/2 dozen in the ground in a raised bed on April 23. The 2nd 1/2 dozen, which included the BCD, went into the ground on May 1st. This cool, wet weather is playing havoc right now for the younger 1/2, which suffered from a caterpillar attack a month ago. They're coming back nicely, I have to admit; the bugs did a pretty good job shaping the Smurfs for me but what a truly scary way to go. Made up some home-made bug spray (ground red chile and dish soap) that keeps caterpillars, spit bugs and everything else off so far
Smurfies range from 30"-34" inches tall for the 1st 1/2 and 19"-21" tall for the 2nd 1/2.
