so if the antarctic isn't melting, that means that the ocean hasn't increased in temperature which means it isn't being warmed by humans right?

That interpretation might be a stretch, but it sure doesn't help the global warming fear mongers to have their "models" churning out the wrong answer. This whole global warming thing has really been political at its core from the beginning, just an excuse to fear monger and put on new taxes like "carbon credits".

Wasn't the whole idea to move all of our nasty stinky polluting industries off to faraway lands so that all that soot, chemicals, nastiness and disease makes those other countries sad little biscuits of carbonized flesh, radiating plutonium 238 and oozzing pus? Wasn't this the essence of the carbon credit? Send our garbage off to kill other people we never see all the while people make huge sums of money off of it while the rest of us subsidize the wholesale killing of others? What's different?

Political from the beginning? No, not really, it was made political by the GCC - the Global Climate Coalition, a consortium of oil interested corporations that decided that the best way to deal with this hard but unacceptable science is by applying tecniques first pioneered by our friends the tobacco industry who launched anit-science campaigns urging that the jury was still out on tobacco related cancer - even though they knew full well that it was both addicting and detrimental to human health.

The GCC disbanded after having performed it's purpose - to politicize global warming and introduce doubt into the public discourse. Do I need to remind you that it was the Heritage Foundation - that bastion of conservative "thought" that came up with the first cap and trade scheme.

Awesome, you first showed a picture of the ARCTIC ice, this thread is about the ice on the opposite side of the world.
Then you show an ice shelf that has already disintegrated and rebuilt itself at least 3 times in the last 30 years.

Haha "carbon credits"! These guys are geniuses. They found a way to literally CREATE MONEY OUT OF THIN AIR(pollution)! Carbon credits are one of the easiest ways for rich corps. to get hundreds of millions of dollars. And unlike the stock market, the average joe doesn't have access to the carbon credit market. And then you have the idiots that are tearing down thousands of acres of south american rain forest and then planting a monocrop of one tree for miles because they are working to "suck the carbon emissions out of the atmosphere." Wasn't the rain forest doing the exact same thing? They cut the trees down at twenty years and burn them, which actually releases all the carbon the trees accumulated in their lifetime. What is wrong with the human race?

The Eco-loons are the most dangerous faction of the left. Unfortunately, almost all of them have swallowed the kool aid and will defend the absurd notion that man is changing the climate no matter how many of their dire predictions never come to pass.

Is this article all that is necessary for you to call the accumulation of greenhouse gasses and the subsequent warming of the atmosphere a hoax? Because if this is your confirming proof then I would say that you are very gullible or willfully ignorant.

This article proves that some model of potential future events is wrong. On the other side of Antarctica ice shelves are melting much faster then models predicted. If you choose a very small part of a picture to prove your point you will end up looking stupid, and so you do.

I would hate to have a building on the land in Wyoming that has one of those rodents on it. Say goodbye to your fucking property, of course they will make you control the weeds and provide drainage and water at your own expense, but you will never be able to use it for anything other than habitat for a mouse.
