Big ass spider in my tent

I have accepted the fact that spiders love my house, and i dont mind them.

However, i found this baby in my tent tonight.

Now i dont know much about spiders, other than they eat bugs, which is fine by me, but this one looks...well, pregnant lol.

Should i remove her from my tent? I had a google about spiders in grow rooms and i have seen people say leave them (in reference to small spiders) but she is probably about an inch long with legs. Not massive, but not exactly small. I am just a little worried one morning that one spider will have spawned 300 tiny little spiders and i will struggle to get rid of them.

Could some kind person give me some advice on what to do with her? I have 5 seedlings in there at the moment.

Check the pedipalps (apendages that are by the mouth parts) first. If the ends of those pedipalps have ball like structures, then it is a male. if it is a female, then keep an eye out for spiders that are about a 1/4 of her size...those are the males.

Honestly though, pretty unlikely that you will wind up with a egg sac as it is too bright in your tent and you have too quick of a turnaround for them to hatch (assuming you regularily clean your tent).

Mate, at least you can live with them. I can't. I would have killed it at once! But yeah man, if I was you I would just put her in the garden or summin!

Peace.

I shall name her and call her Fat Ass. I will pet her and hug her and squeeze her...

I shall leave her be for now. I will fetch her out in the morning. But i am not gonna go looking at the claws for ball structures, screw that. I can live with them but i dont want to become close buddies! If i did that, she would let her friends know, and they will all come over, then they will start wanting to borrow my stuff...ugh, i have enough friends.

+rep to everyone for such quick replies. Thanks guys!

I'm not sure, but that looks way too similar to a brown recluse for comfort. Spiders won't hurt your plants, they eat bugs and I have found a few chillen on my tent, but that one I would kill.

Dude, I am a house painter and I have seen lots of that exact type of creepy fucking spiders. We stained a boathouse that had a few dozen. They don't much like leaf blowers

I live in England, so it wont be. We dont have anything dangerous in this country. We outlaw guns, knives and poisonous stuff. All our insects and arachnids are good law abiding citizens. Apart from those scumbag wasps...with their stripy hoodies and they bad attitudes...

<edit> Looked again and it's not a Garden Spider. I'd catch her with a card and a glass and release her outside. cn

Ahh thats just a few particals of coco from where i fluff up the top inch of the pots. That is the edge of the potting tray, not the actual tent itself =)

spiders wont hurt your grow .... unless its the kind with yellow .. red and green colors .. then they will smoke it all over night ..

no realy .. spiders is a helthy sign actualy .. a sign of your house is well ventilatet and not fill of funges/mold aso.
spiders dont like that .. so be happy with that .. and the fact that it is`t them tiny once that actualy eats plants (spider mites)

put it out side if you dont want 300 babies crawling your grow room ..

we have venomous spiders here, false widows being one of them,a women got bitten on the hand by one,she nearly had to have her hand amputated.and we have adders here too,
but i kinda see what your saying tho,we dont have the vast amount of dangerous snakes and spiders like they do in other countries luckily.
