DAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMNNNNN! Really sweet brother. After I chop this grow, in about 40 days, I'm all over this and I'm going to be growing Subs' gear for the first time. May need some help since this will be my first attempt at this method. This will be my bible. I'll probably refer to it a hundred times. Thanks so much for this info. and all the hard work and thought, you put into this method over time to be able to perfect it. Going to be growing some A13 and Space Bomb; can't wait.

Just came across this thread. Dont know why I never looked at it before. Nice work and thread. I tried something similar before but not just on one node. I tried it with seveal nodes. I used twist ties and as the stalk got bigger the more tight the twist tie became and eventually cut it in half. I did not even notice til it was too late. Then used hemp string on a different og strain. That one did not even like being super cropped. But I got a good master that I think will work for this method.

Thanks for the idea.

mainlining notes.....

if you choose to use clips, or wires for bondage, make sure you pay attention to how long they are wrapped around the branch or trunk.....they are only for temporary bondage, and if left on, can girdle the plant...

.....Qush should work very well with this method, i have yet to try chernobyl, but plan to real soon......i am sure it will work great, as i think it has a similar structure to the flav, which works well.......if it can be done on the vortex, with all her secondary branching, it can work with most!....of course the vortie thrives with some sort of screen to hold her together....

5***** star Thread

I think Ive got it :) I'm doing it strait away,I've seeds just poped all kush strains (Tahoe, kosher,Holy Grail) they have ther first set of true leaves, so as soon as I can take two clones I'm going main line:)

Realy Good Thread pictures realy help thanks!!!

Awesome work! I have aos, qush, vortex, and space bomb that I'm going to try it on! I know each plant is different but how long do you usually veg? I'm gunna have to veg clones 2 months before starting them in flower and don't want my branches to get toovtall. do you suggest a 16 top plant for a 2 month veg? Thanks nugs

Nugs,

1) Can you speak a bit more regarding the nuance of main-lining strains like Vortex? I'd love to see a case study on that, and other sativa dominant strains.

What I find is during the stretch, there is so much side branching on the spokes, do you pinch any, or some of that off? Or just let it all stay at that point?

2) Also any suggestions on how to manage asymetrical clones?

3) And how do you Nugs manage the propagation of Mothers and Clones to maintain your favorite phenos?

I have been pondering the asymetric clone dillema..... I am thinking..... of topping and pruning off All but One side growth point on an asymetric clone of my favorite pheno... and then training that one growth point to be verticle, and then a bit later, top and main-line that? This is assuming (?) that the new growth off the one side point will grow out symetrical? Any experience with that or suggestions? (My appologies if this is hard to follow without a diagram). Probably with better planning (or nursery management) selecting symetric clones is more successful and obviously more desirable for main-lining.

Thank-you so much and Much Gratitude!
