Anyone have experience with Mosca or know of another source that I have overlooked. I goggled, I attituded, world of seeds, thc farmer, few others.
Mosco's is one of the best ...You can get a pack and find that Pineapple pheno or that Fruit punch pheno...quick flower time..nice smoke..clones nice

Quick question.

Has anyone experienced seed death like I did? Heres the deal and this never has happened to me before either. I germinated the seeds like I always do, in a damp paper towel inside a baggie in a dark place at adequate temps. I sprouted five C99 BX1's and all five popped with one seed being better than the others. I then carefully put into soil in the tent. Out of five seeds on;t that better one popped out of the soil. The other four died. At the same time I did the exact same thing to the five SweetTtooth's that came free with the C99's and all five went perfect out of the soil. I also did a few NL's of mine with no issue. Based on that I don't fell there is any issue with my methods. Worked for decades.

Any ideas of what happened? I dug one seed out and it looked frozen in time. Like it was dead when they went to soil. The root tips did look a little grey in color.

I am super bummed. The C99's were all I really cared to for this round. I planned on crossing to my NL that I have worked for twelve or so years. It is the most fuely stinky NL ever. Would have maybe made a great cross with the C99.

Weird shit man. I have never seen this before. Maybe a weak batch. The one that made it is the runt of the room. I did put two more seeds directly into soil, no nutes at all in soil or water, and both started to break thru the soil but one of those died. I'm two for seven now. As long as I get a male and a female I'm happy.

I'm not knocking Mosca. Shit happens. Hope the sweet tooth is good.

Just never seen this before. It's like seed suicide.

My batch wasn't the greatest either. It's why I didn't do a report on it.

My problem was runts. Every single one of them had thin stems and some had the weak leaf structure where the green is missing on parts of the leaf.

I wouldn't try them again before I tried the Female Seeds C99 first.

A Cinderella Story...
I've been seeing a lot of posts from people asking for the "Cinderella Story", so here it is:
In 1997, I (MrSoul) discovered a few seeds in a bud of Jack Herer I bought @ "Sensi Smile" coffeeshop in Amsterdam while there to buy seeds.
I didn't expect much when I grew them, but one of those seeds from the JH bud produced a very special female that I call "Princess".
Therefore Princess' mother was a Jack Herer (IF we can believe what Sensi Smile printed on the package) and her father is a totally unidentified mystery plant.
I also got 2 more females (Genius & Cafe'Girl) & several males from those seeds.
I used pollen from one of the males on a heavy-yielding, dense, resinous ShivaSkunk (from Sensi Seedbank) female, then grew the resulting seeds to get males to produce pollen to cross Princess with, beginning the cubing process.
The first generation of seeds from Princess were called P.50 because they were 50% Princess.
I used males from the P.50 generation to back-cross to Princess to get P.75 and again back-crossed with the P.75 pollen to get P.88 and again with the P.88 pollen to get P.94 which is "Cinderella 99", a cubed version of Princess.
The name "Cinderella" was chosen because of the parallels between this story and the well-known fairy tale in which Cinderella becomes a Princess despite her humble beginning.

Most plants will be sativa-ish in structure. Stems will need bracing on most as well. Stretch will be about 1X. Feed her until tips burn during veg then back off the ppm's a bit until week 4 of flowering. Then a PK boost at 5 and six then flush a week. They will be done in 7 weeks but an odd one or two will go a bit further. I like mine at 49 dayz due to the insane sativa rush when taken at that mark. They will degrade in potency if let go long. Or at least swing more towards a couchlock or confusing high. Dont panic if fans start turning yellow and falling off sooner than you are used to. It is a trait with this strain. Hope this helps.

And did I mention the tropical greasy grapefruity/pineapple resin this plant will produce? One of a kind. If you walk blindfolded, into a room full of budding C99, you would not know that there was marijuana being grown in there. You would think you stepped into a grapefruit or pineapple processing center. This plant is heaven for those concerned about odours indoors. Nobody, except maybe the experienced grower, would be able to detect what was going on. Even if you had no odor controls in place.

Do you have any journals or pics of this plant in veg/flower/ cured ?

Sounds like its too good to be true... what are yields per M2 like?

001.jpg002.jpg005.jpgI'll have to get bacdk to ya on the rest of the phenos, I have 4, but they are all close I can tell ya that. This oe has a skunky, pineapple smell and taste. Most definitly the Mach Fly has a more skunk-like structure than the C-99 bx1 seeds. The Warlock is coming through for sure. They were all decent yielders and look very similar, so I would say Mosca did a good job again.

How long did you all cure to notice the full potential? And did the terpen content or the experience of the high change with a longer cure?

Female seeds also has some C99 I only read good shit about them so maybe u should give it a try, also they are femmed, might be good or not depending on what u prefer.
I'm also thinking abouth getting C99 then again I dont know which once to get, same with bubbas (will be running 4 different bubbas to see which is best), but then again I heared bad stuff about some of Mosca gear I think it was about a OLD time moonshine cross not sure which but they said it herms etc.

I did 5 phenos of OTM with no herms and very little variation. The Mach Fly and C-99 also same thing...no herms and very stable phenos.

003.jpg004.jpgMe and Cindy were hangin' out this mornin' and I realized that this slightly less dense pheno, is a fruit punch pheno. After some cure time, the fruit punch smell and taste is really coming out i9n this one. It's the only pheno out of 5 that is not the Pineapple pheno. I brought this up cause the high is very good. It's motivating, but still very stoney. It's tha kind of buzz that gets you busy, but nothin' really gets done. haha
