Got caught need advice

I had just started growing 3 seeds in my dorm room. I let a kid stay in my room because i wasnt living in the dorms anymore. the cops came looking for him and searched my room and found my stuff. I got a manufacturing marijuana charge and a paraphenalia charge. They hadn't even sprouted. How much trouble am i in and what should i do.

WHAT?! That just doesnt sound right to me. What you should do.... get a lawyer...ultimately the cost will be worth it. I mean you want a manufacturing charge from some seeds that havent even sprouted??? Eff that, thats bs. Good luck!!!!

on this subject I was wondering if any one can point me in the right direction to the answer I need. My question is in the state of Missouri what is the penalty if you get pulled over and they find anywhere from half a pound or anything up to five pounds in a car? Should I go and find a lawyer and ask him what the charge is and what penalty I would be facing and once I know the charge is there anyway of getting aorund it?

Ok so that website said that if some one was to get pulled over with 35 grams to 66 pounds I would be fined $5,000 and spend 7 years in jail. When it says you would serve seven years how long if any do you thnk you would actually have to serve.

Depends a lot on your record, if it's a first offense you will probably get probation.

Ok thats what I had thought all along. As long as it is the first offense and you are not some hood rat gagster you would have a good chance of getting probation instead of jail time. Another question if you were to get caught and they gave you seven years would you be in jail or prison?

You need to check with a real authority 'cause I'm not him, but here in Canada, anything 2 years and over is federal prision. I would think the states use something along that line but I don't really know.

That sucks. I was going to try and start a couple seeds in my room next weekend... Anyways, try and talk your way out of it. I had a roommate last semester that got out of a bunch of charges and was left with only one or two. Normally if you're hellof cooperative they will lessen the charges and punishment.

That's some serious charges. Don't fuck around, get a lawyer if you can afford it. Or just run like FDD said. He might of been jokin, but it works. I got warrants in my state but they won't extradite frpm another state. So I'm fiddin' to move across the state line as soon as I have my finances together.

Newbuddy your in some good trouble as your in a school zone which is gun and drug free mandatory 5-15 year federal charge just for possesiion ten you have mnaufacturing and if your in school you wont be.Your gonna need a lawyer on this one sorry to hear it happened.Its worst if you have any prior charges..Stl I lived in Missouri for awhile that stae is pretty gung ho on catching transporters.Your looking at depending where you got caught at a bunch of charges piling up quick. Possesssion,transportation of illegal drug or narcotic.If close to a major border city possbl;e transportation across state lines which gets you an interstae drug trafficing charge.Intent to distribute,lose of vehicle and freezing of assets.Thats just to start.I had many a run in with Missouri police even got bann from the state and I moved back out of there nice and quick as it sucks there for minor stuff but your gonna wanna get a good lawyer as you could face 5-40 years depending on which particular charges they hit you with and more then likely they will pile them to get you to agree to snitch where you bought from and set someone up as thats a favorite deal they make there.

But it's college, not elementary/middle/high school. I haven't seen any "school zone" signs around my campus. Regardless, a lawyer would probably be a good idea...

After hearing a few arrest stories, I gotta tell you kid - this doesn't even sound believeable.

I mean if you are no longer staying in the dorms, why do you have 3 seeds that you started - still residing there? And if the cops came there looking for this other guy (there's always another guy) and found him and your crap - then why are you the one being charged with anything?! Just doesn't make sense!!! Are you saying this other kid snitched on you?

Any public defender will get this thrown out of court! You weren't there, you no long live there; therefore it is not your stuff!!!

YES! You should go talk to a lawyer!!!

Preparing in advance for prison, real smart... (and I mean that in a dumb way!) But atleast you will know what you are getting yourself into should you decide to smuggle drugs... something is very wrong with the youths of the world today!

Glad you atleast went to the Norml site to look things up. Now go back to that site and find a lawyer in your state to ask these questions to! We are stoners! And even if there are several lawyers in our numbers, why come to a marijuana cultivation site for legal advice?!

1. LOOK UP STATE LAWS (usually not to bad for growing 2 or 3 but if said place is zoned as school zone could be a class X felony)
