where do you buy your clones?

I am done with seed banks, seeds and searching through 100 plants to get one I want to keep. sucks! The disp I have gone to in jackson only have signs for clones. Where and what clones have you guys gotten around and for how much? I'm bout out of the seed game. that was fun and I got 1 great and 2 good plants to cutt from but I'm done. hope clone hunting is easier. Thanks,

find some one in the caregiver service business. I seem to always be supplying cuts and clones. and yes clones will bring in bad shit,(so will dirt,peat,RW,....) I isolate and inocolate everything going out and coming in.. but the chance is still there. good luck

I am from Humboldt County in California. I use to get clones from the local collectives. Many problems encountered...mite ridden..powdery mildew.clones from a budding plant etc. Ever try feminized seeds or autofeminized seeds. Or maybe making your own mother plant. Clones here rooted are 10 dollars a waste imo.

In my experience, clones can be as much of a crapshoot as seeds are. Unless you know someone personally, and have had the opportunity to sample the finished product prior to introducing those genetics in to your garden, you most likely are wasting your time.

Have you purchased any seeds from Serious Seeds or TGA? I have literally germinated hundreds of seeds from dozens of breeders, and thus far have had spotty results with the exception of those two breeders. Serious Seeds Kali Mist, Bubblegum, and AK 47 have all been staples in my garden at some point in time. I have also worked with "The Chronic" from Serious Seeds as well. This strain was an excellent producer, but the high wasn't as potent as I wanted, so I culled that from my garden. I just finished a run of Jillybean from TGA, and this is going to stay in my garden for a while. It's a great producer of really funky/citrus smelling dank! I also took and early sample of Cheesequake from one pheno (3 females total) last night and was blown away by the high! Definately will be a keeper amongst the three.

I hate to say it but you can have the best pheno in the world, when you dry and cure it that's where it can be lost. Make sure your drying and curing properly. I have had bag seed (unknown strain) grown and then cured to be some of the finest smoke yet.

I haven't tried TGA gear. actually I have only dealt with attitude bank and the seeds-NL dot some shit. nirvana got me 2 plants (ice and white widow) to clone off took about 70 seeds. I got a pheno of a feminized ACID from them free that was good for my patients but not for me. so all told I have cracked freaking 90 seeds from breeders and males out and shit females out I have 3 plants, just 3. Oh, and I got herms totally fucking up about 12 weeks of my grow from bullshit seeds. I run a perpetual grow set on 3 week intervals so yeah....the herms fucked me hard! freaking patients; it's all good shit and great prices but don't let a motherfucker know it may have a seed in it or you're the goddamn devil, believe me! LOL, but seriously the Goddam DEVIL

I have sick documentation to go with my grow and do 2 weeks as a min cure before I even taste test it. I know I'm down to genetics now as the weak link and it's KILLING ME as a lover of variety and fine smoke. the 3 good ones are GREAT but fuck's sake 90 tries..........I'm just glad I am not a breeder them cats got mad patients and immaculate documentation. I couldn't do it, no way.

I haven't had a seed not give me some awesome pot...so I have no idea where you are getting your seeds, or perhaps I am just easier to please than some...Not sure which...I mean some are better than others, but hell-o sometimes I get different stuff off of the same clones from those same seeds...It depends on how well I do at taking care of the plants properly as well.

How do you not find more than 1 or 2 out of that many seeds, or are you exaggerating? Have you looked into fem seeds? Because you are usually getting a copy of a keeper if you get proper fem seeds...
I have several times planted one seed, and gotten one keeper...
I started out with one seed, and it was a keeper...at least it was til I got some more seeds that were even more keeperiffic and had to let the first go...but the first few times I grew that first seed it wasn't all the great...it got better, but at it's best, it wasn't as good as a other fem seeds I had gotten with orders...I got a super awesome Super Lemon Haze, and a Super awesome Rocklock..right now I am running a couple of new ones for me as well, and they seem to be pretty awesome...
I tried TGA but of a 5 pack all 5 were male...so...I have found that everytime I get reg seeds I get burned in one way or another...
So, I started just making my own fem seeds with the ones I have been given and have ordered, and I will have enough weird genetics to last me awhile...
Ya know what...sifting through huge amounts of reg seeds that are male, or just aren't super cool females, does suck...but you can always try breeding together the males and females, that way you can look for more phenos...but that is a lot of time...but you can always try some fem seeds, because if made properly they are very much like a clone from a keeper plant, but without all the bugs and weird meetings...
I have nowhere to get clones other than my own...so it has to be seeds for me...but there is nothing that says you can't make your own awesome plants with the seeds you have...

I have a Critical + (Dinafem) that is amazing in some ways and yet terrible in others...
I don't know if it is just stronger than the other strains, but I cough my ass off (in a bad way) and then am higher than usual (in a good way)...
It has a good yield, smell and taste, but damn...it is full of coughs..I think I am getting better with it though...either it has gotten less harsh, or I am getting used to it.

Have you ever tried a water cure? I have done this a few times when I come across particularly harsh strains to smoke. The theory is that everything you want to purge from the plant (salts, chemicals, chlorophyll, etc) is water soluble, and all of the beneficial components (THC, CBD, etc) is fat soluble, so when you allow the bud to soak in water, changing the water daily, you leach the crap out of the finished product and leave all of the goodies intact.

It will be the smoothest smoke you ever toke on, but it does have a tendency to alter the taste somewhat, so if you're going to try it use only a small amount of bud at first to see if you like it.

I just went through my shit. If you do a journal online for us to check out, I will give you an unopened fresh pack of TGA. I have qrazy train, apollo 13bx, or The Void(purple apollo13). I am pretty confident you can find a keeper out of a five pack, no prob.

I have resolved to do a journal as soon as I can. I'd be embaressed to show my room right now, it's all seeded out and yellowing from nute def cuz they are all so so seedy from a NL#5 that was suposed to be fem.....but was only sort of fem. the big male branch with all the sacs were in the back....by a fan....and you can see where that goes. that hiccup is gone by about mid august and it's a done deal with the grow journal. my camera is shit but I'm down. I will post a thing here in this mich forum when I start it. it's past due anyway.
