I watched a woman get beat the other night

While I was smoking with my friends outside of an apartment complex, i see her holding her baby and then her man choked her out, she slumped down the wall, then he brought her back up, punched her a few times, then they went down the hallway. 10 min later all i could hear where the occaisonal thump and a womans voice crying out.
I couldnt do anything, and its been haunting me. To top it off my friend in the back kinda thought it was funny, since he knew the guy.
What would you have done?

I wanna go in so many directions with this one. First, why are you hangin out with people that think it's funny when women get beat WITH BABY IN HAND. So kick that friend on the nuts please. Now I wanna say that bitch needs to leave him, but she already knows that and hasn't. He Probly beats her all the time, people don't just start doing that. This is where I must reiderate, I am not a big fan of police in general, but if you call the cops on him for domestic disturbance he will go to jail for hitting women. But then he will just be more mad and beat her even harder...

Well don't let it get to ya too much, the only thing you could have done was call the cops...he probably would have hit you of you had stepped in.

I would have come absolutely unglued. You would not have been able to keep me on the porch to watch that. OMG! Just omg. If he'd gotten mad and hit me, well good, because i'd testify against his ass a hell of a lot quicker than she would. And fuck your friend for not doing anything. And for laughing, tell him I hope someone treats his mother or his sister or his daughter like that someday, see if he laughs about that.

A better neighbor or a better human being? You don't watch a woman holding a baby get beaten and just sit there doing nothing. There's no justification for that.

when? if i had called the cops everyone would have made me hang up. they told me to just stop watching and keep smoking, its not my business. and now i think about it all the time

i would become his friend, lace a joing with some strict-9, roll me a joint and offer him to smoke, "hey man lets smoke this is some weed that will blow you away, im sick though so i rolled seperate joints" and well...... you know the rest. but that just me. i am compassionate and loving, id give the shirt off my back to a complete strager but i have a demon inside me aswell that is divert of any emotion when it comes to killing someone that deserves it. IE child molesters, woman beaters, or really just any sick minded individual that is a menace to society, our beautiful world, and its peacefulness.
