I suppose Im a bit paranoid...(wonder why lol), but even for a small grow of 6 plants I sometimes worry about FLIR and garda monitoring and requesting / getting info from forums, checking geotags on uploaded pics etc.
Although I might just be smoking too much of this afghan kush.

Im doing a trial run of 3 critical plus and 1 jack47 auto on a 14/12 flowering light cycle, currently vegging them, and also trying to replenish my supply jars.

why lights at 14/12? you now you like 2hrs over a day? why not 12/12 if there all auto all they want to do is flower anyways?

hi guys i too am paranoid bout security im a long term smoker i have everything i need ta start a grow tent light pots timers missus on side [the hardest ha]the problem is i would have ta grow it in my house ensuite and i have children would it b wrong of me ta grow two plants in my house with my children living there im not bothered if i get caught with two plants if they want ta spend there money coming after us small guys then more fool them im jus worried about the effect it will have on the kids if any any advice welcome guys

welcome to the irish thread seamus, its a killer with kids in the house, the ensuite is bad idea unless you can loc it, and be assured that each time you open the door they don`t see the plants or the lights, once in flower there going to smell, even two plants will smell up the house so have you got a shed or attic you could grow in? possibly a spare wardrobe? or space if you bought a wardrobe? theres ways and means to do it, just expand on your situation a little.....

thanks aes86 i have an attic but i think it would get to hot i can lock the door for ensuite and keep it locked i have a secret jardin drs100 tent fits perfect in ensuite i have it were shower should be didn put in shower doors for this reason i have a 400w hps light do ya think the helicopter would pick this up

attic`s yeah it gets really hot up there, last grow i was in mine, and after 5 mins in there you would swear i was covered in babyoil or something the sweat would roll off me hahahaha....
wouldn`t worry about the chopper unless you think its over your area that bit too long, and with tent and all i`d say you`ll be fine, so grow away...
i had a grow in closet and had light leaks so ids copped fairly quickly something was going on,full story is papges back, but sorted it anyways...
if you rock on with the en suite idea, is it upstairs? you could just vent out the window, again in flower they will smell so possible need a filter then..

the chopper can only see heat. make sure that heat is not going out a window or the room is getting very hot. imo an attic is the worse place to grow.
the best i've heard of is blowing the hot air under the house, if you can run ducting down from your room.

slightly wrong, the f.l.i.r can see both spectrums white on black and black on white, so even if the roof is normal, it will see heat leaks from sides of the building etc, now i know this as i watched it last night on that super weed documentary. Scred the fuck out of me when i seen it for myself...
but the heat sig has to be of a certain "size" for them to determine if its a grow or some other factor...
