Dankshizzle, am a blower and I managed a headshop for years up until last year. I have had these conversations for most of the time I have done both. It is hard to not take offense when people throw your work into the same realm as import, I know. I found that you really cant change everyone's mind. Some folks will always go for the $20 spoon just because it is $20. They dont care about the glass shards from drilling the bowl out or that some 8 fingered orphan in Pakistan made it, just that it is $20. The same people keep Walmart afloat. There will always be these folks among us. Luckily there are the people with more discerning tastes. The people who buy Snap-on tools instead of Harbor-Freight. The people who want the right tool for the job or just know that the quality difference is what you are paying for. Keep up your work and know that you are helping people make a cleaner product.

Picked up a a custom tube from dankshizzle...wasn't impressed with the sandblasting job that was done. Also, after first blast the cork sunk in the tube a ways. Was a bitch to get back out. $100 bucks for something I don't use. Seen a lot of sick pieces on his thread but my tube wasn't one of them. This was my experience.

Limosnero: the blasting was all hand cut and is why the letters look janky. I was having trouble with the blaster ATM. It was blowing my stickers off and wouldn't go softer. It being a tool I didn't think it would matter too much. I just use them. It's like a fancy hammer. I just hammer with it and put it away. But if you can't use it there is a problem. If you still have my addy, I will make you a functional pipe out of the tubing. No problem. And I'm not offering just because you bad mouthed it. If you would have pm me that the cork wasn't right I woulda made it right. I always do. I've never left a customer unhappy. I usually go above and beyond.

You should probably explain for public conversation a little. It sounds like you are charging him $40 to fix a glass piece that you knew looked like shit, cuz of your blaster. Well, the bigger cork makes it functional. There is probably more to story. Thats why I was like, huh?

You are correct.
I worked as tradesman for years. I have ran a lot of jobs. It irritates the hell out of me listening to people say how great their work is, and then explain why things are fucked up on job. I have heard DanK. does great work and that last post had me like, huh? We are all getting better, and it looks like he is going out of his way to please people, that is big thing.

Ill admit that was one of my beginning stages of blasting. All hand cut stencils. I now have pre cut stickers I use. the cork, I don't know why you got the wrong size.
Also the 1/2 - 1oz tubes are the best.

Kinda. Were not on the best terms but I'm still in the same residence taking care of my now flowering ladies!!! Wish I could upload some pics they look amazing guess I'll just have to wait till I get some dried bid shots to try an upload again.
