So Obama goes to Iowa and claims that Paul Ryan is blocking a farm bill that Ryan already voted for and passed the house 2 weeks ago. Does he even know what the hell is going on anymore?

Now we have Biden, nothing like a little good ole fashion racism. He said I quote "They're going to put y'all back in chains!". The more they speak the worse it looks for them, they are already trying to manipulate the debate topics what else can we expect from our dynamic duo?

Obama has urged Congress to pass a farm bill to provide a long-term solution for farmers. Democrats and Republicans are at odds over the program's farm subsidies and food stamps, with Ryan among the GOP lawmakers backing cuts in food stamp programs that are opposed by the president's party.
Ryan's events in Iowa could help determine whether conservative excitement for the Wisconsin congressman — and his austere budget plans — will overshadow Romney's message and Republican attacks on Obama's economic performance.

Did you even read the first comment....

What Yahoo didn't tell you was that this was a gaffe by Obozo. The farm bill was passed 2 weeks ago by house republicans and are waiting for the democrats to pass it. If this were the other way around yahoo would have given you the whole story and put it on their front page

President Obama is picking a new fight with Mitt Romney's new vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan, taking the Wisconsin congressman to task for opposing a major new farm bill now working its way through Congress.
With farmers feeling the economic pinch of this year's severe drought, Mr. Obama highlighted Mr. Ryan's vote to block the farm bill from advancing during a campaign swing through Council Bluffs, Iowa Monday

There's only one problem with Obama's statement -- the House passed a stopgap farm bill that is currently being held up by Democrats in the Senate. Not only did the measure pass the House, Rep. Ryan voted for it.

Though a version of the farm bill passed the Senate, Republican leaders in the House chose not to hold a vote because of GOP opposition to farm subsidy and food stamp funding in the bill. Ryan is among the Republican leaders supporting cuts to food stamps

Damn cheasus read the shit you post its say at the bottom.

But House GOP leadership disputed the president's characterization of the drought issue.
"The Democratic-controlled Senate left town for August without taking action on a drought aid bill that passed the House with bipartisan support, including the support of Chairman Ryan. The weak attempt by the White House to manufacture a controversy illustrates the president’s desperation to change the subject to anything other than his failures on jobs and the economy," Kevin Smith, spokesman for Speaker John Boehner, said in a statement.

The farm states are currently suffering through a drought, which adds urgency to the debate. For this reason, the House separated drought relief from the rest of the highly contentious farm bill and passed $383 million in emergency disaster relief separately on August 2. The ranking Democrat on the House Agricultural Committee, Rep. Collin Peterson of Minnesota, criticized this move, insisting that “weathering a natural disaster without the certainty of a five-year bill could damage one of the bright spots we have in this economy.” Paul Ryan voted for it. The Senate refused to vote on the measure, so it joined the 30-plus pro-growth jobs bills passed by the House, only to gather dust on Harry Reid’s desk.

Ok.. Let me get this straight. Ryan who is a CONGRESSMAN in the HOUSE of REPRESENTATIVES...

Is somehow holding up a bill in the SENATE... ??

Do any of you know how the legislature is supposed to operate? Do any of you know the difference between a senator and a congressman?

Have any of you bothered to notice king harry reid sitting on all the bills coming into the senate while declaring it is the republicans fault?

I mean seriously... You guys are looking beyond stupid for continuing to buy the song and dance coming out of this administration...
