Throughout our country's history, the vote has been expanded to include more citizens. This is the first time that trend is being reversed. It's a sad time for Americans.

How does voter ID stop this? She registered in two states with her real name. The only way to stop this is a national registry with finger printing, etc checks. Big Brother FTW!

I believe that we constantly claim that we are an exceptional nation, in other words we are not like other countries.

Many here know my opinion of "common sense" and I will not expound on it here.

But regardless of my opinon on common sense, let us look at the ID issue using "common sense"

It is not common sense to employ a cure for a problem that does not exist.

It is not common sense to, in the process of guaranteeing the right to vote, prevent more legitimate voters from voting than that law stops voter fraud.


In other words, there is nothing sensical about preventing one hundred thousand legitimate voters from voting in order to stop one illegal voter from doing so.

agree we shouldn't limit who can vote, but i think voting is a right and choice . . so if you want to do it, do it in a way that is 100% not , oh well i did it. . . . . .if voter ID's are given out at time of registration then i see nothing wrong with it, and ID to a registration

Now that's common sense and something Iv suggested before. Give ID's out for the purpose of voting.

There may not be many recorded instances of voter fraud...but there is huge potential for it.
