Super Coco public test thread

I've ran two ten packs of sb now. Man i still can't find that first pheno I lost.

Ordinary men avoid trouble.
Extraordinary men turn to thier advantage.

Subcool said he can mix a batch of super soil for 175$ That's a very low number and we know he gets products in bulk. So the absolute lowest you'll mix a bag of super soil yourself is 21$. Not counting time and labor.

I'll have the real amount most of us will pay in front of me asap. It's more like 30$ a bag. Sub how much are you paying for roots? That garbage is 43$ for 3 cu ft here. No offense but the time of sewage and building scrap compost pile potting soil companies is in the begining of the end.

So the burning question is how much would you guys pay for a bag? I'll go ahead and tell you we're looking at 39$ msrp for 2 cu ft. That's down from 60$ which is damn cheap to grow four ounces . The pricing on this product will seem high at first, but you try to grow in all fox farm products and see if you can do four ounce plants for 40$. Get back to me quick with your results fellas because they'll be my main selling point.

Hi ogevilgenuis,

Thanks for checking out my thread. Yes it is crap! I soon realized that making super soil with coco was much better than peat.

I'd love to send you a free bag and you show me how much better it is!

I'd love to accept, but I'm in Canada and I believe it's near impossible to ship over the border anything dirt related or biological.

ugh...i am so upset.
mixed a batch of supersoil for the first time and what do i have bugs. thrips and maybe root aphid.

i think i am gonna trash it all and start over with coco base.

200$ and 4 weeks down the drain.

This is pretty exciting my friend. I look forward to the results... I grow on a pretty small scale which affords me the opportunity to pay too close attention to my plants. If you don't have any takers that you care for I would be willing to test and document this for you. Good luck though brother. If it turns out good results then I could see paying 39 for it... That's what I payed in Alaska for a bag of FFOF...

Nice thread. i've just recently switched to coco and thought about this myself, but have no clue about organics. will be following to see what i can pick up in this thread. thanks for sharing.

Interesting stuff. I use coco for my vivariums as a half and half medium for my dart frogs living floor. Works quite well as a draining medium and my mosses, peperomia, and vines love it. I've contemplated using a vivaria mix considering it's very "airy" and mix it with a Roots like soil since they both support microfauna and beneficial bacteria. Your super coco sounds in the step I was going, just up a whole other notch.

Hi oldschool,

That has got to be the most frustrating problem ever!! You spend top dollar to buy quality ingredients and control for all variables only to find out the products you bought were tainted!!!

I have seen temperatures as high as 120 degrees in my Super Coco compost piles. This is partly due to the intense heat that Pine bark gives off during composting.Throw in 10 gallons of casting and 10 gallons of organic nutrients and you have a super hot pile that will kill most bugs!!

Hello dabumps!

Thanks for the kind words I grow more exicted each day! Yes I have a bag with your name on it. Please message me with your address and I'll send it out tommorow.

Sevren,

Thanks for dropping in! Up a whole other notch is what I was shooting for. However I"ll not sit here and pretend that each and every one of you could not mix up a batch of Super Coco yourselves. It was never my intent to sell to growers currently mixing thier own super soil, but rather sell to the majority of growers in urban areas that don't have the means to mix a batch themselves. I started the thread here because this is where the super soil growers are.

Would you care to give Super Coco a test run?

A few pics from the last harvest. The purple buds are plushberry f2. They represent my first breeding project. I was trying to get back to the black cherry soda mother. All grown in Super Coco by just adding water

Pictures taken on September 25. Ten of these were transplanted into ten gallon pots full of Super Coco on Sept. 16. I moved those ten outside on Sept. 23 to start flowering. The smaller plants inside were transplanted into ten gallon pots and five gallon pots.

It is important to note that these plants were all fully rooted in silo cups by August 28. The plants grow fiercely in the silo cups filled with Super Coco until thier roots are established and begin to encircle the bottom of the cup. The plants sense this lack of rooting space and show it by slowing down growth dramaticly and stopping vertical growth at about 12 inches. Using this technique I can slow the clones growth untill I have the space she needs. A week after I transplant these abused clones into ten gallon pots they have doubled in size and are showing very healthy growth.

Transplanted into ten gallon pots Sept. 22.

******** I forgot to mention the plants have been treated twice with azomax for bugs and that is why the leaves are twisting and turning down. ****************

Ever use products like Flower Dragon, Snow Storm Ultra or bushmaster? Well, a lot of growers swear by them. These products are called plant growth regulators and were banned from use on plants meant for consumption. They absolutely SHOULD NOT be used on cannabis and the only reason they are is cannabis is illegal and NOT REGULATED. I REALLY am DUMBFOUNDED by the level of decit being used to market and sell this stuff. I used these products for a number of years until i started growing in super soil and realized they are not needed

.The Dangers of Plant Growth Regulators - YouTube

Here are trichomes growing on a stem of a plant two weeks into veg! Snow Storm my ass!!! More like use these products and your body will be as if it were left naked in A SNOW STORM.

That's right folks. These fine products brought to you by a company with HUMBOLDT in the name. Sounds to me like someone's cashing in on that emerald triangle place! I am very proud that my product is from Georgia and in no way associated with these west coast scammers. They know what the dangers of these products are and that they shouldn't be used on cannabis. If they are not aware of the dangers of their products they are not fit to produce products for the cannabis industry. Legislation must be passed to ban these products use on MEDICAL CANNABIS!!???!! I am starting that process now.

Hey stbjrb,

Thanks for the kind words! I am working tirelessly day and night to bring this product to market and we're almost there!

Stay tuned things are just starting to heat up as we enter the first week of flowering on a few plants and day 13 of veg on 30 more plants.

Here are a few pics from Oct. 2nd and a couple today right before I re-arranged the grow room and tied down half the plants.

For you, stbjrb, enjoy...
