Has anyone heard of an "inspection" of their grow room?

Is there such a thing? In light of the increased plant count this could get awkward if it happens. I am just starting out and am planning to grow enough to help during the chemo and radiation treatments that are in my future. Having trouble with the law would be very difficult while fighting this fucking cancer to remain among the living.

Does the state come to your house?

This is why I would never sign up and give them my info...........I don't want any visitors checking up on my grow- now or later. And if they ever roll back the law, they will know right where to go. I'm sure others feel differently.

I was on the fence about this for the same reasons, until I got the bad news from the doc, and realized that the mmj law in CO was written for my exact situation. I have been paying taxes for a long time and feel like this is my country, state, county and neighborhood. It is nobody's damned business if I quietly grow and smoke some weed. I just hope that I don't wind up fighting for this right in court.

Stealing power is a big deal. Don't do it. That alone is a serious crime that is easily found. Not sure where the line is for large scale. Wrecking a house by molding the interior or stinking up the place and creating a noxious pit that is offensive to the neighbors is crossing the line and for sure would lead to trouble. Dealing from a house would be a magnet for trouble also. What I am interested in is whether or not there is an inspection staff in the state department that handles this stuff, of if some desk clerk checks the applications out for an address next door to his grandma and sends someone over.

even though legal I treat my grow as if I were underground. when they can get other info from catching an odor alone more than likely they'll get a warrant, last I knew no law enforcement had access to the registry so until you supply documents you'll be treated like a criminal, this includes military style entry into YOUR home. the fucks are brutal around here I can tell you that, I personally know someone that was cuffed in his underwear , placed in his own front yard and THEN flashbanged, I lost any respect I may have had for the pigs after I heard this story first hand from the dude it happened to.

having said that it's probably best to treat your own grow as if underground also. these inspections don't come until you draw the wrong attention, keep odor under control and you shouldn't have a problem even if you use a lot of power, they catch an odor first THEN get in your power bill and even tax/income info.

My buddy has an infused product/edible licence that his doc upped the plant count to 25 or something and so i decided to ask my doc about it and they said that whenever the plant count exceeds the legal individual limit they have to send the persons info directly into the feds and irs, so i said naw. I think these individuals with upped plant count are the ones under scrutiny, and those who abuse the limits and steal power etc. I think that small operations are on the bottom of the list for raids, but it could depend on your area.

in getting an edibles rec nothing is different until/if you're popped. there is nothing that is sent to the state that says you have an higher plant count.

Actually, the doctor's recommendation is sent to the state. If the doc recommends a higher plant count that info is on the paperwork sent to the state. I don't know what they do with the info but they definitely have it if they want to do something with it.

also I've read that all an overage means is 150 dollar fine and they take the amount of plants you're over, second time the fine is a little more stiff, third time even stiffer. dude didn't say what happens after that.

I just assumed the accelerated plant count rec was to keep with your own records and not even used unless you have to defend yourself in court because they didn't tell me to mail that.

c. If a caregiver is listed, a copy of the caregiver’s IDs.
d. If the patient does not have a Colorado ID, include proof of residency paperwork.
e. A check or money order to cover fees or a Request for Fee Waiver/Tax-Exempt Status.

The physician certification is where the plant count is noted...

see that's just it, the edibles rec is a whole different one page form itself. the cert says nothing about plant count.
