Rubber def comes from the diesel chemical gene in the headband. When I harvest mine my hands stink of rubber. I am sure the wife thinks I go out to the shed for posh wanks or something But it turns into a more fruity smell mixed with a chemical/diesel tinge if that makes sense, with the underlying kush earthyness of course, which I guess some people call Dank?!?!

The two outdoor headies i got, you get that rubber whiff when you walk past them from time to time.
