It's Obama's tradition to play a game of pick up basketball on the day of an election. He's done it in all of the primaries and what not since he started in politics. That's the reason he is doing it. The one time he didn't play on an election day is when he lost New Hampshire, I think, in the primaries in 08. Read about it earlier today.

When all the people who are without food, water, gasoline, electricity and shelter along the east coast find out about that I am sure they will realize the reason that hoops clearly outweigh working on a relief effort....

Actually all 4 candidates are out and about today. Biden just stopped in on Cleveland.

And how do you know that he did not do and organize everything prior to today with regard to relief effort so that it would allow him to take 1 days off and relax?

I don't know if I can make this simple enough for you. What more can Obama do for the east coast? Seriously! Is he himself going to get the power plants up and running, get the water to recede back into the oceans, lakes, and rivers? Maybe, just maybe, that Obama handled Sandy so well, so early on, that everything is already set in place to happen, which by the way Obama's plans for the clean up have been underway since Sandy made landfall. Hell, even Governor Christie from NJ came out publically, saying that Obama has done an "excellent job dealing with Sandy", his words, not mine. He even threw Fox news under the bus and called them out for saying Obama wasn't doing enough.

It's sad to see that we still have half wits that still listen to Fox news and all the right wing non sense, and believes it. SMH.....when will they ever learn?

He probably did considering the scope of a disaster that FEMA and other agencies have created thus far...

People need basic stuff 8 days after the disaster. Any person with common sense could have made this better.


How about this....

Have FEMA actually BUY and pre-position water before a catastrophic event.

Understand that without power, gas stations cannot pump gas and be prepared to airlift generators to the hospitals, gas stations and any other buildings that need electricity.

Etc... 8 days and they still cannot figure out what was apparent on day one.

UPS can get me a package overnight. The airports are open yet 8 days later they cannot figure out how to deliver or airlift enough supplies.

Just shows another complete lack of leadership we have become so familiar with under Obamanation....

Now, reality is 8 days later people dont have basic supplies....

Kinda like giving the president the Nobel Peace Prize at the beginning of his administration. You know, before he started blowing people up left and right with predator drones... Real fucking humanitarian.... Him and his kill list....

Didn't you know? NLX is more capable than the whole of washington combined. How on earth did they forget to consider those options, what a bunch of silly sausages, NLX for president! There is most likely a very good reason NLX's suggestions were not implemented, but i'm sure he knows better.

Great point no Budget in 3 years if the repubs would have done this the mainstream media would have had a shit fit.
