I aint one of them boys from the past who aint got the answer
I got the answer
Dance round pricks wanna flow like a dancer
Gangsters put in your crew
There's no drugs
And I won't take yes for the answer
When shots fly you'll be jumpin' like an irish dancer
My name's skemo
So class-ey like eno
Troublemaker like reno

Yo, everything seems cloudy
Everything dropped in the game cause I'm rowdy
Carry on I will take a hammer to your Audi
I met a soldier from Saudi
Not that rowdy
Wanna see D try and how me
Cause next week and you still aint ground me
The phone starts ringing when a drive thru grounds me
Where's lethal he aint in boundary

Chorus:
Dem na like me
And me na like them
Dem are are me enemy
Dem aren't ma friend (x7)

Banning plastic shopping bags is something that has been happening over the past few yrs

Here's a web site that shows a list of plastic bag laws! ~> http://www.campaignforrecycling.org/our_issues/plastic/plastic_bags/current_laws

Plastic bags are bad for the environment. Especially for the ocean!

Here's a link to info about plastic bags and the ocean ~> http://www.savemyoceans.com/plastics.php

...and here's a couple paragraphs from the above site

One of the most serious threats to our oceans is plastics pollution. Plastic constitutes approximately 90% of all trash floating on the ocean’s surface, with46,000 pieces of plastic per square mile. Why is there so much plastic in the ocean? Unlike other types of trash, plastic does not biodegrade; instead, it photo-degrades with sunlight, breaking down into smaller and smaller pieces, but they never really disappear. These plastic pieces are eaten by marine life, wash up on beaches, or break down into microscopic plastic dust, attracting more debris.
Plastic is also swept away by ocean currents, landing in swirling vortexes called ocean gyres. The North Pacific Gyre off the coast of California is home to theGreat Pacific Garbage Patch, the largest ocean garbage site in the world. The floating mass of plastic is twice the size of Texas, with plastic pieces outnumbering sea life by a measure of 6 to 1. These floating garbage sites are impossible to fully clean up.

Ask You Local Politicians to Ban the Plastic Shopping Bag

Don't BAN them, do what we do and charge for plastic but do paper for free.

Because each plastic bag here is 22c people tend to reuse them and as such you no longer find them in rivers, trees, shrubbery, etc anymore.

Just my 22c.

Here, plastic is banned all together for bags, and paper bags cost money, if you want them..because they kill trees.

We keep cardboard boxes to take the food store. I'm all for banning these silly bags. Besides being harmful to wildlife, they blow around the desert like tumble weed, left by the tourists. Got one that blocked my radiator, just the other day.

I love me my free trash bags. And if you've left a plastic grocery bag in the sun for a few months, you'll know that their contribution to any ocean débris is zero. cn

Need the plastic bags to pick up my dog's crap. So you'll have to kill me before you take my plastic bags.

you are wrong. plastic bags left out in sunlight will degrade into small pieces, but the molecules are still there... the majority of plastic floating around the ocean isn't huge pieces of plastic, it's confetti type pieces a few millimeters wide. if you leave a plastic bag out in the sunlight, it seems like it just disappears, it just becomes smaller and smaller pieces that get blown away with the wind....but the plastic itself is still intact.... just in small pieces....

aren't most made form degradable bio petroleum anyway.
Technically, all petroleum is bio. ;)
But yes; they've formulated the plastic to photodegrade into "snow". If I were deeply cynical, I could tout it as a soil builder, a bit like that term "job creator". cn

The bag in the tree will be gone in a month.
Those bags in the ocean are not shopping bags.
Iirc this thread is about the white (usually) polythene shopping bag. cn

^^^ Plastic is Plastic, man.....just b-cuz the plastic bag is broken down into small pieces quickly doesn't mean it's completely gone from sight

It's still there even if you can't see it. The plastic water bottles and plastic food containers floating at the surface will break down into small pieces, too. It just takes a little longer. It's headed for the food chain as it gets eaten by medium and small sized animals who mistake it for food.

This is harmful to wild life

No, it all drains to the sea. The bio-degridation ceases as the peices seek their float depth. The mid-ocean gyres are collecting and sorting the little tiny pieces. The little tiny pieces are showing up in the flesh of wildlife.

Before that, before they degrade, they suffocate baby seals, choke birds, etc.

6 pack, plastic rings are worse before they degrade and then the same after.

It is no soil builder. It will sort into non-drain-able layers. It will clump and spoil
root growth.

good idea. DESTROY SOME MORE JOBS! then more of us can apply for ssdi, grow weed, and bleed the workers of this country to death, just like greece. the communist pres is slowly letting the epa, strangle ANY buisness, that uses ANYTHING from mother earth (like we allways have, from the caveman days). so, soon there will be no way to survive. peta wont let any animal be eaten, rather, let overpopulate, and spread disease, which we will blame on industry. good idea! and it will be senseless to agrue about, because the united nations, that will soom take our guns, wont let that kind of speech go......it will be one voice only. -THE LIBERAL, COMMUNISTIC, STATE RUN RADIO ONLY. all looking for yet another buisness to burn down, and people to lay off. when the greenies, and tree huggers get TOO MUCH POWER, this is the shit we find ourself in. our world, is so much cleaner, thatn it was even 30 years ago. so much cleaner. but the usa, cant make up, for the others, who dont care to improve their waste. we cannot do it. all we are doing is ruining our economy more. remember. its more of US THAT SUFFER, than the buisnesses. no buis. no jobs. no food. no heat. no nothing. (obviously, with the bangazi thing, its impeachment time.)
