Amazing how optimistic some people can be about the idea that the government follows it's own rules--when it seems serving to that person's chosen agenda to hold such optimism.
The federal government doesn't care what we think, and continues to make it's decisions based on primacy, monetary motivations, and the long-running joy of a solid power trip.
People make a big stink out of this or that, and get ignored, constantly. This is business as usual for the fed. It is a government behavior that is technically hard to declare legal or illegal due to the way the government is made up of individuals who hide behind deniability on a personal level.
I am pretty amazed Shags has a supporter in this thread, honestly.
I love the part where he uses the idea that houses cost 5x more in Cali than in Texas as evidence that the Texas economy is thriving.
