where are the threads? having endured years of this i have to wonder whats going on?

where are the believers have they all gone to ground(ready with years supplies of food) /traveled to the mayan temples (for the enlightenment)?

or are you pretending like you never believed it in first place?

You are confrontational with anyone who doesn't conform to mainstream scientific views and yet still expect them to share what they think. Looking for someone different to bully?

...the calendar shows the 'universal soul' and the 'human soul' in conjunct (imu). The center of the stone is Quatzequatel, the Christ in 'neutral' language. I'm sure that they were more interested in what happened in the skies; and, for reasons that devices cannot yet detect. I'll trust some of that wisdom, and be observant as opposed to pin-point accurate. *shudders*

"Through scientific understanding our world has become dehumanized. Man feels himself isolated in the cosmos. He is no longer involved in nature and has lost his emotional participation in natural events, which hitherto had a symbolic meaning for him." - Jung

why not let it be the 2012 countdown to creation?......it might as well be
In the Mayan language, from what I have read, death, birth and rebirth have one word that describes all three concepts. Furthermore, the road to the underworld, called Xibalba Be, is also described as the cosmic womb.

$10 says after the 21st comes and passes just like any other day, the next date will be sometime in 2020

I bet you could completely make something up and shroud it in real places and real people and the internet would eat it up!

Nobody lies on the internet!

$10? Make it $10k! Dozens and dozens of doomsday dates have come and gone, it seems as though many people can't wait for the world to end for some reason, not sure why that is. The most fascinating thing to me is that often the believer's faith is strengthened when the date turns out to be false. What an amazing position for this concept - the doomsday prediciton comes true and I'm a believer (albeit dead), the date doesn't come true and I'm even more of a believer. Wow...

Yeah I agree, I saw a documentary on some cult whose prophet predicted the end of the world, the film crew waited outside the gates and of course, the world didn't end, then the believers came out even more entranced..

Thus is the definition of a cult..

What misguided individuals..

We should start one.

Nostradamus and the bible have to be able to concur with it and we can't use the Mayans obviously, so we could "find" a date in like Sumerian mythology or Egyptian.
