I've been reading that its good to put upwards of 8 drops of bleach/gallon to keep a clean Rez and healthy roots.

This got me thinking about straight tap water. Would it be that bad to use tap with chlorine since it would/could actually help clean the hempy Rez?

Anyone have luck with city tap water? I use it for the "household" plants

My tap water is perfect for my uses. Just gotta see what ppm and ph are before you do anything with it.

Thanks Jela10! I was just showing off my 400 watter and the power of the hempy! They are coming along nicely though. I'm pretty impressed and this has to be my best grow ever. Last grow was a 150 watt 6 plant SOG. Now that I build the space and put in proper circuitry, I'm doing much better. I'm already seeing ways on how I can improve on what I'm doing. I'll throw up some pics tomorrow with it being 42 days. The plush berry really smells like candy. The jock horror is a very sweet skunky smell, and the afghan kush x skunk just seems to have a rotten smell about it. Haven't quite made heads or tails of it yet.

That's kind of high ph but adding nutes lowers it, might still need a little ph down. I've never had to use cal/mag with tap water. I even add a 1/4 tsp h202 per gallon to help the cleaning process even more.

For those running a Hempy sog in 2L. Name off some strains that aren't all about yield that worked for you. I'm looking for some advice on a future (Reg) seed buy. I'm looking for potency over yield, but would still like a yield worth while. Example would be an LSD Pheno I had that was hella potent but lucky to get 4g off a sog in soil each. I know lots of peeps always ask for high yielders and potency together, which I doubt very much exists or ever could. Please share your ideas on what has and hasn't worked for you, include their breeder/company if you can. Thank u. Peace!!

Well I got blindsided today. At 6am I trimmed up the tripod male, and saw 1 sac just starting to form, and thought to pull it today. Several hrs later I pulled it in the dark, to set it up for collection. Noticed the one sac had blown and 2 others grew and opened also. I immediately spayed the Maui Thunder which is in full heat at this particular time. Didn't plan for a seed run.

Since I've put the boy in the office closet it's grown and opened many more sacs.

I can't believe how fast my girls are growing. The g13 accidently got dropped her head and stopped growing for a few days but as of a few mins ago has showing growth again. The other 5 are looking awesome! As soon as I figure out how to post pics I'll put one up.

I havent locked down a formula but I guess its on a 1:1 ratio of polysorbate20 and oil. .... I looked for when the oil slick on the top would break up and emulsify.

Now I completely taped up all gaps I now have no smell escaping to communal areas so I don't make it as much. I like to sprinkle a few drops onto the carpet.

In terms of how much to add for Ona mix, I probably pour half a 50ml bottle in (1L of water) but I now think that's way too strong .

C99 (cinderella 99) is well known for working well with this style.

I can't offer any advise as to what works well through personal knowledge because I've not done enough strains. I can say though that I would stay away from 'Landrace' strains. but other than that Its all about what you want to taste.

Whatever you buy, you'll need to isolate your best pheno's and mother that single plant to produce your clones. If you want some QUALITY bud. Check out the 'Ken's' Grand Daddy Purple. ... LOL. I'm growing 2 tester plants now and the buds are super solid, pretty and smell wonderful.

Placing near an air outlet will increase dispersion..... I found it really worked in the closed confines of the communal hallway.

You can try burning them in an oil burner. Never done it, but thats how its traditionally appreciated.

haha ... can't remember. Probably 4ish. I've bought a 2013 calendar so I can keep time. (I could work it out through my posts)

I did lock and burn the hell outta them by using too much ph down shit. .. I say again, these are just testers in soil NOT hempy. I have the Moms and next runs will be Hempy Mapito x 80. Next time i'll show them more love.

I feel your pain. Ive had plenty of herms recently from a light leak, more like a full blown LED glowing in the side vent of my tent... I read LED was only useful like straight in front of the light, but I discovered that is so not the case! Then I also have some beans from a DOG cross which has a tendency to throw a flower late in flower. Which isnt a big deal, unless you're running a perpetual deal, like I am and it splooges all over your newly flowering babies. I do have an assload of seeds now though and should be set for a long while.
